Glad your back creating videos. It's amazing how much of our lives and daily routine is tied up in technology. When it's gone it's really weird lol. As far as gaming being on the channel, I would watch it but from everything I've read it's not good for long term growth on the channel to branch out too far. I've tried doing movies on my channel and while I enjoy the hell out of it they never perform as well and are actually a detrement. It's better to start a seperate channel and go crazy there with other topics. There are a few channels that have managed both but it seems like it's not as common. So it's one of those choices of I'm doing what I want and whatever happens happens or I want to keep it focused and can manage seperate channels. I thought about starting a seperate movie channel but it's just finding the time

Glad to see you're back. WRT writing, one word. Cloud. Save your stuff in the Cloud, mate. That means using google drive or Zoho. You can still write offline, but then save up to that other place. ;) just in case your laptop decides to go the corruption arc again.

Glad to see you're back. Only found your channel recently but you discuss a lot of slightly lesser known books that other book tubers don't cover. That being said branching out into other subjects isn't a bad thing.

I can guarantee you people will say "Do what makes you happy" in the comments or "whatever is fun to you" but I'm going to give you the real answer: I think establishing yourself as a book guy is going to mean people are going to mainly want to hear you talk about books. If you do want to rebrand as a general media guy, I'd do it now while you are smaller, but it will probably hurt your growth at least in the short term. Otherwise, I'd suggest starting out with keeping the gaming stuff strictly to streaming, and maybe casually talk about book subjects in the streams with fans while you game or something along those lines. It has nothing to do with what i "want" just how I've seen other channels attempts at branching out. Mike's Book Reviews also does a weekly /monthly update where he will put games, movies, tv show talks at the end of the video for people that are interested in that. The guy is totally obsessed with analytics so he knows what does and doesn't work so maybe if you have the means to talk to him he might be a good source.
