This closes out our coverage of the Edain after they first enter Beleriand: the Elf-friends of the Houses of Bëor and Hador, and the Haladin. We hear about Morgoth's spies causing dissent amongst the Men of Estolad; the defence of the Haladin against Morgoth's Orcs by Haleth, daughter of Haldad (and their subsequent rescue by Fëanor's son Caranthir); and the establishment of the Realm of Dor-Lómin.

Of course Caranthir, a son of Fëanor, would be too cocky to, initially, realize the possibility that mortals are capable of valor. At least he did come and help them in the end but he probably just wanted the orc raiding party gone and just so happened to help out the Edain.

Great channel. Haleth is, and always has been, hands down my favourite female character in the legendarium. What an inspiration.

@@VoiceofGeekdom Thanks, Dan. I'm much more inclined to paint the scene where she and Caranthir discuss the terms of the Haladin settling in his land. How much does youtube screw you on the thanks donation chat? And is patrion better?

KZfaq takes 30%, across the board, for any type of donation. Patreon takes only around 10% - and allows me to build a core community, which is my aim at the moment. Eventually I want to open up channel membership here on KZfaq, further down the line, but that also takes 30%.
