@@cristiansantos2143 Macross has The Inertia Store Converter (ISC) it is a technological system that reduces the forces of gravitational acceleration (G) that a Variable Fighter and it's pilot experience. It is also known as an Inertia Buffer.

modern aircraft are fly by wire, they automatically balance themselves and impose limiters to avoid damage and dangerous movement. the reason he when into a spin is because he disable the normal law of the unit to have manual control. else the computer will automatically limit the G and rotation within the unit flight envelope.

I don't know, seems wildly out of character. Char has always had confidence and pride, but that was tempered by a degree of professionalism and maturity, even stoicism. this seems like something a completely different character would say, the ravings of a lunatic. That being said it does make a degree of sense for him to be filled with Hubris (in this case, the oldest definition of the term) as this is arguably his finest hour and claim to fame, and it DOES change the course of history. As classical hubris, in the ancient Greek definition, he feels in that moment like he possesses power to surpass the gods, only the Gundam, and Amuro's rapidly growing skills and Newtype abilities give him the humble pie that makes him the character he is in the original series. Reminds him that he is in fact mortal. Amuro would change Char's life forever and eventually their fates would become intertwined. But what would happen to someone who wasn't given that lesson so soon? who continued on with their Hubris to the very end. In ancient Greek mythology there was a word for beings who's power surpassed the Olympians, though they were betrayed and usurped by them. The Titans.

He also repeatedly manipulates people, including Haman, lalah, quess. He is a raging sociopath. Another prime example is when he tried to force humans to emigrate into space by dropping axis on earth. Char is a sociopathic character that if not for Amuro, would be completely unmatched and disconnected from mere humans

@@tumsfestival8027 I think a lot of those come from different places than what I would describe as a "god complex" 'Avenging' his father's death and taking down the Zabis, Following a twisted vision of his father's dream, and Manipulating people as a matter of course don't strike me as going quite to that extreme. He's a sociopath no doubt about it, and Amuro certainly keeps his ego from running away with him, and that might be what we're seeing here. Without Amuro he becomes much, much worse. Still, I DO like what the english dub does with the line, making it more of a "Notice me senpai" rather than a "Blasphemous Boast" as TV Tropes and Idioms would put it.

And for that he dropped the colonies and all that. And literally all what Char really wanted in CCA was having a fair duel with amuro and avenge lalah if possible (which he failed. Misserably, he stood no chance from the start)

Very little character develooment happened from the moment of his father raging about his upcoming speech all the way up to Char meeting Amuro. Everything was well within Char's situational awarenesss and comprehension, even if he was slightly surprised by one or two points. He started out superior so very little could improve until he saw the inner depth of Lalah and it's corresponding to his father's postualtion about those who can open a world of understanding without misconception. Char also saw it reflecting in the rapidly maturing nature of Amuro and then in himself as he gained his first Newtype flash. A flash of suden insight during the Jaburo clash where it saved his life from Amuro who had grown too powerful for him at that point. It can be argued that this retcon ova series shows Char having his first Newtype flash of intuition as he saved Lala from the little indian assassins. That was not his power, it was Lalah forcing her psyche into his, granting him extra awareness of what he just let slip past his attention as it almost cost him his life.

My way of explaining that was the thrust of the ship became imbalanced and began pushing it at that angle

A lot of the EU and games also consider it a “gundam-type”. With this in mind it appears the MS is a Gundam is most regards except for its name.

This series shows the Zaku II in testing ohase, where the max G was displayed at 13(the test pilot didn't pull it). The limiters Char disengages in this scene allow im to go from 80% to the full 100% of that 13 G limit. I believe only one Russian guy was ablento pull similar lebels for moments at a time. Most harnesses allow more or less ordinary people to handle 5G but Char is 3X better so I am honna say his 13G was actually 15G because he might have modified the Zaku further after the initial installation of the limiter bypass system. I am suspecting he can handle something like 24 G burns for moments at a time but the Zaku II of this series can't pull that off and the wikipedia will tell you lies when you observe the original series with how he magically blurs in and out of sight like he was a DBZ character.

@@reyhanpradhan5760 In a way, he's the main character throughout the whole UC timeline since his presence is felt everywhere in their world - even up to V Gundam. And his story makes one wants to root for him because of what the Zabis did to his family. But after that, one would also wish someone stops him in time before he burns humanity as a whole simply because human society hasn't evolved to his and his father's ideals yet.
