Breaking the guide in parts is the way to go,helps very much to learn mechanics which is terrifying for a new player.

These guides saved me today,from 42 TIL with stats i like i dropped to 30!I was crying!Managed to get to 36 coz 7 days rad exgange wasnt enough for all.

This series was incredibly helpful, not just in regards to "get this, get that".. But the way you explain certain things definitely helps people new to the game understand the game structure as a whole. I'm anxiously awaiting part 4.. currently sitting at 52k. I'm pretty sure I know exactly what you're going to say I'm just hoping I'm wrong 😂

And that's the main reason why people are asking for 60K ilvl+ for randoms and rces. Express 50K ilvl characters with bad items (so, someone with 40K ilvl can play/perform far better) . Of course, most of them don't know mechanics. If you're lucky they will admit that, but youtube is sf for them... Most of them didn't finish campaings (so that's why demo and tic are so often in randoms). And so on, so on...

When vos went live about a year ago, all of us were only just at 50k item level, they have not changed the difficulty since. So it is all doable at that level, you just need some good character optimization!

@@Aragon- 8mil AD and you need to ask guildies or friends to carry you through or hope you can random into a queue that can do radq and rtq is just horrendous game design

Yeah, showing people how to inflate their item level with base seal gear and random companions is not going to help much. Just creates a bunch of players who need to be carried in any piece of content they wanna run.

@@flinnty608 well the seal gear is what it is and what people will need to use, even if the procs on it are not great. The advice in the videos is good in my opinion but needing 80 days of AD refining which isn't that easy to max at the start just to get to this point is horrible. I would agree about the companions though, I don't think you should get random ones you need to get ones that are useful otherwise you waste ad but it's not always that easy. Juma can help though

@@flinnty608 Unfortunately that is the way the game has become, it forces people to express and get high IL to get as much AD as they can per day to get the proper good stuff, it is annoying but I do not mind going in with new players as long as most of the group knows what to do

I already have several characters in this game but even still i decided to try your tips it took me one week ONE WEEK to reach 40k ítem level let me put this on perspective it took me 3 months to reach that level whit my first character good job dear friend good job indeed

I thought I had made a mistake when I spent my first 100 neverember incentives on mount tokens. Until I realized you couldn't upgrade mounts with AD. So I leveled a 2nd character to buy another 100 mount tokens, that I will use to upgrade Swarm to mythic once I buy it.

The item level pieces at 1700ilvl now are pretty cheap, the stats aren't perfect but it's great entry for when you hit 20. It's not that expensive considering the item level being pretty good.

Hey can u pls make a guide on how to use the preview server and how u can give urself ad and items and whatnot? Cz im a ps4 player that wanna test stuff on preview but i dnt hv a character with any items or ad at all in live server so it would be great if u could show us the best way to use it. Thanks

Okay, another one of those "One year laterr" posts, but how do Boons fit into it? I just finished Undermountain all the way down to just before Scalebright, plus Dread Ring. Are you suggesting that we skip that for now and jump into Sharandar for the gear instead? Great tips. I'm not really doing randoms Dungeons or Skirmishes. I've been running new characters through to the Loose Ends quest. It takes a day and nets ~290k rough AD. Aside from Ebon Downs, it's kind of a relaxing way to farm AD. The Grand Alliance and Scalebreaker stuff is pretty reasonable on the AH right now. The Legendary Drow Rings are too. Anyway, I'm rambling. Thanks for this series. It has been very useful. Need to dedicate the AD to fill out my Enhancement slots. I think that will push me over the 45k mark.

going for boons is not a big deal. You can work towards getting them on the side, but don't rush it. They give very little benefits

@@Aragon- Thanks for the reply. Going to start Sharandar this week. Just trying to wrap up the ill-explained (by Cryptic) Anniversary event. Got the Cyclops and Hand on all characters, unlocked the Simulacrum. Just need to do the Protector's Speech skirmish one more time tomorrow to get the VIP. Thanks again.

@@ansfridaeyowulfsdottir8095 yeah the pre mod 16 feats. Some characters which haven't logged in since then, have some bugs where the feats still work, like giving everyone 30k power

Yes, they will help. Boons will help a little, but take your time with them and don't burn yourself out.

At the current price range, getting a legendary moynt and upgrading it is cheaper.

@@Aragon- Yes, but you have to do that for every Alt. With 34 characters, buying 10 Account-Wide Mythic mounts is the cheapest. Lots of new players in my guild have 4 or 5 characters. Sometimes I give away an account-wide mythic as a competition prize. {:-:-:}

collars are better to buy from chests with a choice, overall rating. old collars have 300, new ones have 600. Looks like they fixed it, but it really didn't.

pretty sure all collars got updated, it is intended that some have 100% combined rating and others just 50%

In this game, players usually just stick with what their role is best atm, DPS does damage, so work on maximizing that

I have a question regarding the zen exchange. You said its at 9 months so that means you would need to wait that long for it to be your turn? Is there a daily cap on how much Ad is exchanged for zen?

When you put a listing up to buy zen with AD, you will have to wait 9 months while the listing is up for it to be converted to zen, yes everyone waits in line. If you remove the listing you remove yourself from the queue. The max you can list is a request for 5,000 zen five times

There's no limit to the amount you can exchange but the wait time for it to get done is VERY FRUSTRATING EX: I placed items on the exchange to convert to zen back in Mid November 2021 (PS4). It's now Mid-February 2022 and the exchange STILL HAS NOT CONVERTED MY AD TO ZEN ...You need this to get VIP or get extra keys to open lockboxes (at least that's what I use it for). Thankfully I still have 300 days of VIP remaining, but I can definitely confirm the wait time to convert has been taking longer and longer to convert. Last time I had one convert on the exchange it took me 2.5 MONTHS!!

Unbind certain items that were account/char bound. Like coal wards from invoking, so you can sell it on the AH.
