I own one of these. There is a separator in the trunk that must be properly engaged or the top wont open. If the switch to the separator is broken, or fuse blown, still, it will not open. Check the separator, then the fuse before you assume it is the pump. Also, if it doesn't work, disconnect the battery for 20 minutes, it resets the top and it will go back to working.

You can clearly see that one too piece that’s not closed properly inside the trunk when he opened it. And also the “Roof in operation” in the dash when it’s not being opened/closed. Clearly this G37 was not taken care of at all.

I love you video bro! It's amazing how you would show everyone the cars flaws before you cleaned it up? That's honest and also so dope! :-) I would definitely check the fuse for the top or disconnect the battery and let it reset. It's called a hard reset when you disconnect the battery. Good luck man, I wish I would have bought a car off of you!

I have the same problem in my convertible the separator down and I’m not sure to make it goes up

I have had every issue imaginable with the roof, it’s probably a trick or two I can do to fix that roof. 9 times out of ten it just needs a PC Roof reset from the dealer, or just a new battery.

You didn't pull the roof holder in the boot towards yourself that's why it didn't open.

The convertible top's going to be expensive to repair, so I probably wouldn't pay that much for it.

No, you don’t wanna buy it even at that price. That roof repair might take more than a few thousand to fix.

Nice looking car. I agree people dont take as good of care of infinities as other cars. I've had, BMW'S and MERCEDES but the cost of repairs on cars like this is way too expensive.

In the boot you have to sit the holder which the roof sits on before you can start the process
