I love the origional G coupe and I'm not a big convertible lover but the red leather interior is beautiful and I love the exhaust note all Infinitis have. The sound and performance is breathtaking! Good review!

Thank you for pointing that John Carson. I have a 2012 G37xS Coupe in Red and wish that I had that red interior. The IPL coupe has a red leather interior too however I prefer the exhaust note, the front by bumper and lower price of the S. One can get dual popchargers and a front strut bar and carbon fiber trim AND get the Osiris tune and still save money over the IPL.

You fail to mention that this is the Anniversary edition of the 2011 Infiniti G37 convertible. They only make a couple hundred per year so the Sport front fascia you see in this video is not what you will get if you opt for the sport package in a 2011 G37 convertible. For starters the sport front fascia on a G37 does not have aluminum accents in the front bumper. The Red interior isn't an option yet for a G37 coupe/convertible unless you opt for the IPL G37 or the Anniversary Edition.

I have a 2011 G37S and I really enjoy driving this car - especially on hot summer nights! Test drove a Lexus convertible as well but had more fun driving the Infiniti so I went with it. Really like the styling but sometimes I wish I got the regular G37 convertible as we have a lot of potholes in New England and it feels noticeably softer. The G37S can be a bit harsh as far as the ride quality when you hit a bump or pothole.

BTW the Tanabe NF 210: NF stands for normal feel meaning that the lowering springs have the same comfort as the stock springs even though they lower the car by just over 1inch.

You need the Infiniti Wind Deflector which fits perfectly into the back seat. In and out and folds away. Makes the car. You won't need the window up. It works fantastic sending wind around you. You can drive open on a winter's day. I found the regular drives much more relaxed over the bumps. The sport convertible is hard as a rock in the crap roads of NJ. Every road crack rattles the roof. Get the normal one. Years of trouble free fun. Nissan 3.7 is a gem engine.

And now Tanabe has certified their NF 210 lowering springs which lower the X to stock IPL night for under $450 installed! The wheels on the S are IMHO nicer than those of the IPL too. With the traction control off and 94 octane I've been able to clock consistently under 4.9 seconds 0 - 60 due the x drive. With the car lowered this car really handles around corners, however I do recommend wider tires all around. 235 front and 275 or 285 in the rear. I also recommend 15mm spacers in the front a & 20mm in the rear. With that setup you can put more power to the pavement. There are even dealers in the USA that sell the car with a supercharger kit installed and full warranty! With this setup (less the supercharger) the car handles like it's on rails! Bigger tires on the stock 19s mean that you can move with the best of them. A supersharger would be sweet.

Actually the Altima (which I've reviewed here on youtube) is a front wheel drive car made for a more general car buying audience. The Infiniti G Sport is a very capable car. Even if you want a bit more, they are now offering an IPL (Infiniti Performance Line) which I've also tested here on youtube. Also check out my review of the BMW M3.

bmw 335i and g37 are both great cars so relax..thats coming from an owner of an infinti and a 2 bmws.

I've had the ultimate driving machine since day one, always with bmws. I'm also happy with the fx, which ill shortly be trading in for the fx50 soon.

Electronic gadgetry is nice, but the more you have, the more expensive it is to fix all that stuff. I've watched Porsche reviews on here, and I think Porsche has pretty much everything I would want in a high end sports car.

Is it me, or it looks exactly like the IPL G Convertible?! Come to think about it, is there any difference between the IPL G Convertible and the G37 Convertible?

Firstly I didn't say anything about them being the same, secondly the Infinitis you've owned are old man, they're from the 90's. The newer Infinitis are great, responsive, power and luxurious, the newer bmws are also the same, with a bit more performance. Also, I said they're both great cars, and I also stand by my statement.

Lol, the big difference is that for 58k you get pretty much everything. That's why in comparison, G's have some value. Porsche's have are amazing, but by the time you add two basic options, a 50k base model Porsche turns into 70k easy.

Part 2: Unfortunately, 7 times was my limit..i kept on pushing my limit because i love the car soo much, but each time it rains..i have visited the dealer ship. So I strongly urge new buyers of this car to get this car, but be careful when it rains..keep an eye out on the driver side tweeter. Im sad ive lemoned it, going to Benz and getting a E convertible..hopefully when that lease is up..Infiniti can have its head out of its ASS and fix the water leak so that I can lease it again.

This is such an amazing convertible!! I own one and Iove it, but one big problem that these G37 convertibles all have is that the top leaks water!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! like crazy!! It doesn't make sense how Infiniti mechanics cannot fix the f!@$%^g problem! i have gone to the dealership 7 times for a water leak from the drivers side window and roof and each time i have it picked it up, they have guaranteed that its been fixed, but not really!

listen i owned a 96' I30 in 1999 and a 99' q 45 touring edition , my girl is buying a 08' qx56 this year so ive owned a couple infiniti's too owned some acuras, a lexus too and i stand by my statement infiniti are nissans my i 30 was a maxima my q45 didnt have a brand mate and the q 56 is an armada... you know what a bmw 335 twin turbo shares with, Nothing not even the enf=gine with a 328i. so no their not the same #checkmate.
