Charlie’s apartment is definitely a soundstage and in earlier seasons, they probably couldn’t afford to build any extra rooms because the show was so low budget. Now 15 seasons later, they have the budget to increase the size of the set. Amazing.

This isn't a two bedroom apartment. This is a 1 bedroom apartment. A two bedroom apartment has 2 bedrooms, a living room/entrance, kitchen, and a bathroom.
