The muck had to be quite dry as they had to bump the concretes up. which made it a bit harder than usual to lay the blocks 👍🏻

Nothing better than gaining that kind of experience. It isn’t always straightforward and the sooner they learn the techniques the better off they’ll be in the long run

Kudos to the lads for learning in front of a camera, hard enough learning something new in front of professionals, well done lads, and to you Charlie for helping these lads out in their early years.

It's great to see you teach the next gen, defo need colleges to get on site. I learnt on site and seeing people fresh outta college fail/give up just because they haven't been in the environment is gutting. Fair play man.

I can sense the banter is gonna get better and better with these lads .😂😂 great job by all them lads . Hardest part of teaching bricklaying is gauging how keen and willing the lads are to actually learn 👍🧱🧱🧱

Best tip for jointing block is take small bit muck next to nothing or what have on trowel from last 1 layed. Then brush /skim up block then regardless of how the muck is will always joint to it without falling off.
