Bought this pipe bc my grandpa smoked this pipe while working on the farm. Tonight is the first time I have smoked it. Very unique set-up! Im glad I got it, if only to remember him!! Found your video to see what others had to say about it.

I have collected a number of Falcons over the past 60 years, and I have found they all live up to everything you've said about them. I don't often smoke aromatic tobacco but when I do, I usually smoke it in a Falcon since it is very easy to clean and I am able to dedicate particular bowls to aromatic baccies and thus not worry too much about "ghosting".

I have several Falcon pipes that I smoke regularly. I even picked up a new meerschaum bowl for $1 at an antique store because they weren't sure what it was.

Good morning. Just watched your vid on the Falcon Pipe. I have 2 of them. The oldest is 29 years old and the newest is 23 years old. I have enjoyed many a pipe full especially on camping/fishing trips with a fellow pipe smoker. Great pipes. Another metal pipe you might check out is the Kirsten pipe made in Seattle Washington. The grand daughter still runs the store. Machined aluminum aircraft body with interchangeable bowls. Several different bodies and numerous bowls. I enjoy your vids.

In another age, I think shortly after the dinosaurs disappeared, my high school football coach would smoke a pipe on the bus going to and from our games. I liked the smell of the tobacco. I didn't know what it was at the time, (I didn't know anything about pipes, so no surprise there) but I remember thinking what an interesting pipe he smoked. It was a Falcon.

They're a few custom pipe makers that make bowls for the falcon.

great review. I have two Falcons, my chrome straight pipe with the smooth Dublin bowl is my go to pipe. my second is a black, full bend pipe mated with a meerchem lined hyperbole rustic bowl. It's amazing the weight difference between the two bowls. I prefer the Dublin bowl because it is much lighter and easy to clench for long periods. The Falcon pipes are really easy to clean and clear out moisture without having to worry about fitment issues from hot disassembly. The only issues I have with the pipes is the amount of moisture they develop and the high temperature the base reaches when the ember reaches the bottom of the bowl. I also discovered as the bowl builds cake, it will choke off where the button enters the bottom of the bowl. I had to scrape away the carbon with a pocket knife in order to clear the pathway to allow air (and smoke) to pass. I use this pipe a lot and have had to ream the bowl twice in the year I've owned it. (it's do for another reaming and will get maintenance as soon as I remember where I put my reaming kit.)

It's probably the best selling type of pipe over here, and I have to say they are incredibly practical for anyone who spends time outdoors. If you break any part it's really easy to fix, and can be adapted to prefference, unlike any other pipe I know of. The joys of standardisation allowing retrofit parts...... Mine is the black "Hunter" version, no shiny bits on it for obvious reasons. I quite fancy trying a meershaum lined bowl on it and see how it goes.

I really like my Falcon! If you’ve got a tobacco that burns hot for you in a briar, one of these could be the solution. Plus the bowls are different sizes and shapes so you can tailor the look and length of the smoke you want. Also, it’s very handy being able to take 2 or 3 bowls and just the one stem out with you for the day. Just make sure you let the bowl cool down before unscrewing to replace with another - the heat can affect the thread on the bowls so you want them to contract back into place before changing!

Falcon's are part of my collection. There's a only thing that I hate in them is the break in the new bowl...vile and terrible.,after that everything is okay. Dublin bowl and some Orlik's Golden Sliced a right bliss.Thank you for the video.
