Sir, you are a top man. I am a veteran in the UK, ex Royal Engineers, it's not something you hear in the UK... "Thank you for your service". I have had an amazing experience working alongside US Rangers, they were our protection in 99 in Kosovo as we were in soft skin veh's. Humvee with 50's. Was great to spend time with them and chat. Being a new comer to the party, I have got a lot of encouragement, help, advice and support from your channel, watching videos going back 8 years, they are still v helpful and relevant. I do have to stop myself from "nipping out" for a smoke, this is when I get tongue burn, so slowly learning this is not a 5min smoke break thing. I wanted to say a big thank you. You are a Top Man and my no. 1 source of support and most of all... Enjoyment. Take care and keep safe. All the best Si

You know what's funny Muttonchop, as a truck driver KZfaqr, when I'm out and about not working around my town or wherever, nobody knows who I am. However, once I'm at a truck stop or a warehouse etc., all the truckers that watch my videos come up saying "Hey Dave! You got me into trucking or I've been watching your videos for years!" So, I can 100% relate to what you were saying in the video about that. Awesome video. Been watching you for years myself now.

🌲 1/5 for me on this one. I love most of Country Squire's non aromatic blends but haven't been a fan of their aromatics. Smells great but I don't get any black berry or spice, just not a fan of this one.

For sure the Capstan that I smoked in the 1965 for 20 years was not duplicated by MacBaren correctly and the same goes for Three Nuns, they were great tobacco that I enjoyed for many years , now I smoke MacBaren Navy Flake and Solani N633 they are good tobaccos.

Mark Tinsky does honey diluted in water to coat his own pipes. he of course does not do this to pipes he produces for others. It has worked well for me on two virgin briar pipes, one tinsky, one tim west. they are my favorite pipes and both smoke better than any others i have.

Glad to see some Country Squire on the list! I absolutely love their blends, they’re the only ones I bother smoking 😅 I’ve tried them all and about once a year they release limited edition batches

🫐🫐🫐 This was “fine”. The blackberry come through from the tin, and does some in the smoke, but it’s rather unimpressive. I don’t hate this-it’s just not that interesting. The room note is nice, at least. I smoked this in my Country Squire Bing’s from MCC, which I picked up during a visit the Country Squire in Jackson, MS. 😊

Good advice. I am going to start bathing and using utensils instead of just my hands. My tongue turned green before i started using the breathe method.

People get so pretentious about this stuff. I use a filter and don’t care what anyone thinks. I’m fact sometimes I don’t use a filter and I can’t tell much difference

💀💀💀 The BlackBerry was not as forward as I like. It was the weakest of the 8 or so Country Squires I’ve smoked. I’d smoke it again though. Well blended but I was expecting more in your face BlackBerry.

I’m always looking for the strong, over the top, in your face kind of aromatics. What most pipe smokers seem to hate. Strong flavors. Do you have any suggestions ? (Besides Cult Blood Red Moon) Thanks a lot from sunny Az. 👍😃☀️🌵

Samuel Gawith 1792 flake. It’s potent, but the tonguin essence is not nuanced. It’s one that definitely tastes like it smells. It’s debatable whether it’s an aromatic because of the leaf component, but I consider it an aromatic…and as a mostly English smoker, SG 1792 is one of my favorites.

I was wanting to ask... What is the one Tobacco Leaf that you prefer most in all the Blends you smoke, that you might feel you have to have? 🍂
@Quiet.Corner.CT_Pipes4 күн бұрын
The amount of smoke is lost in the CGI background, almost as if there is little to no smoke produced at all. Otherwise, I like the rustic setting. CS blends are all well made in my opinion. No complaints whatsoever.

Everyone is different, but I think the three pinch method is generally amongst the worst ways one can pack a pipe, but especially for newcomers.

Had originally started out with cigarettes but I always wanted to try my hand at pipe smoking. Recently i had bought my first pipe even before discovering your channel, a nice churchwarden pipe as I heard they were a good starter due to its length. I will just say my first bowl did not go well with packing and lighting, and as I wasn't used to pipe smoking I inhaled much too deeply. But after digging around on more information I stumbled across someone who reccomended your channel to learn more, and I am so glad I decided to look into you. Really great video and can't wait to learn more.

Guidelines for cellering... more like 8 minutes on how to date label a shoe box. Very low information on this one. So each container has a date that goes into a box with a 5 year date. Just put the celler date on each container and do the old fashion math. If you only buy 3 or 4 tins a year 2021 will be the wrong date for some of those or you end up with a bunch of boxes half used. Sorry.
