I have never had a problem with mine. My zx11d, cbr1000rr,gsxr750 srad ,gsxr1100w,zzr600 they all worked and still work great. The only thing I bought for my bike from China that I did like.

I have bought a couple sets for my 2007 Kawasaki ZZR-600, no issues at all. I did add grease to the attachment bolt. I also purchased a set for my 2008 Suzuki GSXR-750 and had the dealer do some small adjustments. They are working great for the past few years. I went the eBay route cause I couldn't afford the really expensive name brands and figured other riders have purchased them with little or no issues.

I bought a set of these for my 2010 ER6N in November. cost about R280, so +/- £16. Since its pretty sunny here mine have already gone from pitch black to a sort of gold tinged black. Still, at 1/5th the price I'm happy.

I paid just under £14 and got my shorty levers within a week from china now thats seriously pretty impressive

You may notice the square face/edge on these type of after market levers, very noticeable on my Aprilia, compared to the nice rounded feel on the originals. have fitted these to every bike ive purchased , I get the fold up ones, incase of a drop & end up stranded with out a clutch. Actually considering linishing the top edge to a nice radius, then polishing or paint as they do feel bulky and square slightly keen-edged when squeezing up to engage controls .

Dude! Lube the damn pivot bolt and the clutch cable end barrel! And triple-check that the new lever does not engage the master cylinder piston more than about 1mm at rest (the results of a partially engaged piston are not good unless you enjoy unexpected locked front brakes). And a dollop of grease where the lever contacts the piston is a damn good idea as well.

I'm cheap and I order stuff from Aliexpress but I would never ever consider putting some chinesium on my braking system. You know a brake lever can *break* in "normal" use (spirited driving or emergency braking)?

Ive had them on everything Ive owned and not had a problem. TBH while i was watching your video I was thinking I would clean off that old dirty grease and apply fresh if it was me ;-) Also, while the clutch cable is off the lever its worth lubing the cable before fitting. Ive just loaded a video on the brake lever fitting as there’s a bit more to it on the Speed Triple.

Hi. Just seen your vid. I'm thinking about short levers for my bike and have looked at these ones. A concern though was that if I braked really hard would the lever snap?!! Sounds daft but standard levers are designed to bend to a point. I wouldn't want to pull on that lever and it snap due to cheap materials. It's been a while since you fitted these ones. How are they now?

What could fail in these levers?I am using a pair on a Honda 250,and will soon have a pair on the Honda 650 as well. The clutch on the 250 seems to slip in 5,6th gear at times.The. feel is better than stock,I have had em on the bike for 1 year and a half or so,fitted after modifications.

There r lots of rebranded stuffs which is actually from China n sell for 3-5 time the price. Example: Area 22

If you can remember, did you have to take apart the brake lever n install spring and n stuff, I noticed in another video. Clutch is str8 forward, but brake seems like you have to put a spring in there.. what would that be for? It was a 1 minute video of Chinese girl building these levers. Idk if you have seen it or not, but really got me confused as hell. I've got 87 Honda Rebel Cmx450c No1 sells the good adjustable levers for this bike. Her hand is too short to reach the clutch n brake levers. Even new Halo levers won't fit my, her bike. Completely rebuilt bike. Iove it, but haven't installed the levers yet, same as yours

I would stay away from CNC levers I bought two set for my different motorcycles both brake and clutch lever were not a good fit for both bikes. Each lever was missing between 1mm and 1.3 mm which is a lot and will be loose and wiggle and rattle a lot. I returned them right away.

So you think your life is worth so little? Consider the quality of material and assembly if it's shipped to your house for only 14 quid! Do some research and you may discover why reputable brands are expensive. But if you're willing to grab on the brake lever one day and have it fail then it's your choice. Chinese indicators and mirrors are one thing but placing your life in the hands of a 7 quid lever?

Hi. .I hope sense then you have cleaned off the wd40 and creased the levers. Reason I mention and I'm sure you know is wd40 is great for loads of stuff but it is a degreaser. Why it should never be used on bikes chain for example. Unless of course it wasn't standard,original wd40 you used. That case I'll shut up.
