Cheap VS Expensive Champagne Taste Test! (Cristal Worth it?!)

I decided to see if Cristal and expensive champagnes were really worth it. We bought all the popular champagnes for a taste test. We used Cristal, Korbel, Lamarca Prosecco, Veuve Clicquot, for this video.
We also toured the Champagne Brunch fest on the Destin Harbor Walk.

You can’t compare prosecco to champagne. It’s not just the price in that case, not even the same product. Different grapes, different terroir, different rules/traditions

It’s not the taste that matters, it’s the quality of the wine that determines if you feel like shit in the morning or not.

of course they like korbel better. because it is extra dry. veuve and cristal are brut, brut contains much less sugar

I had a girl friend who would only drink Ketel One vodka. I purchase a cheep vodka called Platinum that was 7 times distilled and came in a plastic bottle. I kept one of the empty Ketel One vodka bottles and filled it with the Platinum several times and she could never tell the difference. Hope no one had Covid during this exercise.

Ummm half of those aren’t champagne……Prosecco is NOT champagne!!! And neither is Korbel (regardless of what the label might say)!! And tell the lady who says “This kinda tastes like wine”, well that’s because it is, all of it!!

Shouldn’t of used a champagne flute. Better off using a wine glass. Could be the reason they liked the Korbel the best. The right glass is an instrument of flavor. 👍🏼
