So to re-cap, dont call Bobs Prop Shop enquiring about an Ecto-1 build if you are thinking “I got $1000 saved up, ill talk him down”. Such a proposition is nothing more than an insult to Bobs professionalism. I fully agree.

This ecto 1 looks amazing, almost as amazing as the bluesmobile but sadly the 74 monico has my heart, I grew up watching the blues Brothers and fell in love with the bluesmobile, I've always wanted one but sadly I've never had the money or time

Ordered a couple of those proton packs from Hasbro, I think we're at level 2 or 3 ? Anyway, we all have the connection power cord and a bunch of burnt mini Stay Puft to hang from your pack, got 2 wands from Entertainment Earth and the ecto-1 popcorn carrier from AMC and a levitating Slammer trap from the Bradford Exchange...

Yes it is. 1 of 2 on our roads in south africa. Our cars are right and drive. This is a left hand import. No 59 to 67 duplexes reached our shores.

Hey Bob I'm pretty sure this Ecto 1 is in the episode of Shipping Wars I'm watching right now. It's a 59 Caddilac and all the props look the same from what I can tell. Its season 6 EP 2 and it's called "Who ya gonna call?... Not two blondes in a truck" If you get a chance check it out, I'd be curious to know if it actually is the same car.

They're different cars. I need to see Afterlife again, but I'm fairly certain when... ... SPOILERS AHEAD ...Phoebe calls Ray and Ray is talking about how Egon left with a bunch of the their equipment that Ray says he left with, "One of our Ectos". Again, I need to see the movie again, but I seem to remember Ray saying this.

You do not know much about cars do you? There was only like around 400 of the 1959 caddy cars made. It is very very VERY HARD TO FIND. Thats why people use other cars that are close to the 1959 caddy.

@@jenningsmills5398 Oh, I apologize. pretty sure he made a video on this a few years ago about the parts that were hard to get, his packs are a whole different caliber, a more quality pack if you will.... but that might have been the flux capacitor...lol. did you see that Adam Savage review of this pack from Hasbro?

@@lynch6642 I did see savages look at the prototype afterlife pack. It looked great I'm a gb1 pack guy though. I'm sure the gb community is gonna go hog wild with mods and parts. My spirit spongeface modded packs are going to be wall art from now on.
