Thanks! Factory steering works great and especially at a lower lift I don’t think it’s even worth worrying about drop pitman arms, or other more involved steering setups. I think something like the ZJ tie rod or iron rock off-road HD tie rod (that’s my vote) would be a good move. It’s a very easy install for the IRO bar, just need to do an alignment after. And it removes the concern of bending the bar. I’d say keep it factory but beef up the tie rod. It’ll be the easiest and most cost effective but also offer a much better increase in strength. So it actually doesn’t have armor! The previous owner actually had vinyl stickers along the label. But I believe smittybilt or JCR make door armor. I have since removed the vinyl and do like it a lot, but I do like to protect my doors!

Hmm gotcha. How much lift do you have?

So I’m actually using the Rough Country Comtrol Arm Drops! They’re advertised for a 4.5”-6.5” lift. I actually just decided to sell them, so if you want to buy them used, let me know! They’re a good part, I just ended up lowering my lift and I’ll be getting long arms, so I can’t use them with my current setup

Well if you feel a steering wheel shimmy, maybe. But if you’re talking about the entire jeep vibrating, it’s more likely your driveshaft. Check the quality of your u joints, and also check your pinion angle, especially if you’re lifted and don’t have a SYE

You’d be surprised, actually. I haven’t had anything remotely close to death wobble on mine. Slightly vague steering, but never death wobble
