TAWA IDLI
Ingredients:
3 heaped tbsp Butter (मक्खन)
1 medium Onion - chopped (प्याज़)
1 tsp Ginger-Garlic paste (अदरक लहसुन का पेस्ट)
1 heaped tsp Red Chillies & Garlic chutney (लाल मिर्च और लहसुन की चटनी)
1 medium Tomato - chopped (टमाटर)
1 medium Capsicum - chopped (शिमला मिर्च)
1 fresh Green Chilli - chopped (हरी मिर्च)
½ tsp Degi Red Chilli Powder (देगी लाल मिर्च पाउडर)
1 tsp Pav Bhaji Masala (पाव भाजी मसाला)
Water (पानी)
Salt to taste (नमक स्वादानुसार)
5-6 Idlis - cut in 4 pieces (इडली)
½ small Lemon juice (नींबू का रस)
1 tbsp Butter (मक्खन)
2 tbsp Coriander Leaves - chopped (धनिया पत्ता)
For Garnish
A pinch Pav Bhaji Masala (पाव भाजी मसाला)
Fresh Coriander Leaves (धनिया पत्ता)
Process:
In a kadai heat butter and add onion, saute until translucent.
Then add ginger-garlic paste, red chilli & garlic chutney and saute for half a minute.
Now add the tomatoes and cook until soft and then add capsicum, green chillies, degi red chilli powder, pav bhaji masala let it saute for a minute then add water, salt and mix everything properly.
Add the idlis in and toss it with light hands then cover and cook for 5-6 minutes, remove the lid and mix everything properly once.
Now finish it with more butter, lemon juice, coriander leaves and switch off the flames.
Serve hot in the serving plate and garnish with coriander leaves and pav bhaji masala.
