Chente Part 1 - Former 1%er Patches into the Kingdom of Christ

In this two-part series, we sit down with Chente, also known as "Two Cuts." Born in East LA and raised in Rialto from a young age, Chente's early years held promise. His mother, a devout Christian, and his father, present in the household, provided stability for Chente and his siblings with a comfortable home and ample provisions. However, the illusion shattered as Chente discovered his father's involvement in the drug trade. Despite his mother's pleas for his father to leave that life behind, he instead turned abusive and abandoned the family.
As the eldest, Chente bore the brunt of the fallout. Turning away from his faith, he spiraled into cocaine abuse and embraced the street life, eventually becoming affiliated with a notorious motorcycle club. Yet, amidst the chaos, he found redemption in Jesus Christ, leading him to leave the club and become a pastor, guiding others towards God.
Despite his tumultuous upbringing and struggles with addiction, Chente has transformed his life. Today, he runs a successful barber shop and is on the verge of opening a tattoo parlor in Cathedral City, embodying resilience and redemption.

Really cool interview.. Chente, as time goes forward the most hated and gangster of people will be those who have accepted Jesus Christ into their lives. If someone doesn't know how to pray or get ahold of Jesus Christ I would tell them to go somewhere quiet, get on your knees and speak from your soul to him. He will answer you and you will be born again.

The other thing that is often overlooked is to read the first book of enoch.. as a past nonbeliever I always asked.. if God is real then why do horrible things happen in life and mankind making war with their neighbors..you read enoch who was taken by God to heaven without dying and enoch writes about how the angels who were sent to watch over us found human women attractive, so they took them as wives and had children. These children and fallen angels are the gods that Egypt, Greece and other cultures worshipped. When the angels were officially banished from heaven they came to earth and taught us how to make weapons and war, they taught us to murder and hate etc. No holy man ever led me to God, I was at my lowest and reached out to Jesus. I spoke from my soul and he answered. I didn't realize it for several months but I was born again that day. I had what is called ptsd from severe children trauma and was a scarred man. Jesus Christ took it all away instantly and the feeling I experienced when he answered me I have never felt anything like that before and I am determined to make sure that I end up spending eternity with him and the other believers.

And that’s the hardest thing to do like this man says it’s to live for Christ to turn that cheek to walk away. It’s simple to bang with somebody and do your thing and push that hate it’s harder to walk away. It’s harder to say God bless, but it gets easier as you keep doing it and you know you’re doing right and living for Christ and that’s the gangsterest thing to do in life and you feel great too about it and it’s right praise Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior

I am a Christian and have been for 28 years. I don’t party or drink and I am in a 1%er club. I have been able to love and help so many people, more then I did when I was in the church. Why quit your club? Be close to God and help others, bring Jesus to them by your actions. It’s simple, it’s about your relationship with God. Having him in your heart not by your works.

I’m a 1%er in a BIG 4 , and I’m a Christian… I have many brothers who are even better Christians than me. Let me tell you something, JESUS CHRIST was a ONE PERCENTER. I will do everything in my power to not create conflict, but I will not run from it , and I will defend my brother and protect my family . That doesn’t make you evil or incapable of being a Christian.

I’m not questioning you but questions I ask myself and I read this verses. what is the right thing to do in God eyes ? So if Christ got murder why didn’t he defend himself ? If his apóstoles got attacked and murdered ? Why didn’t they fight back ? None fought back! Romans 8:36 As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.” Philippians 1:21 For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. Mark 8:35-37 35 For dwhoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake eand the gospel’s will save it. 36 for what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul? 37 For what can a man give in return for his soul?

@@pasroberts I believe it can. but when you hear the voice of God to let go. do you listen ? or do you stay? God has different plans for us. But with the same purpose to bring people to Christ that’s his Will. I had to let go and be obedient to God. It reminds me when the disciples responded acts 5:29 Peter and the apostles replied, “We must listen to and obey God more than pleasing religious leaders. We have to be obedient to God. Not our feelings or emotions. Because it’s what God wants in the end is to pleas him

@@elchente9229 hands down we obey God 100% always. In my case I obeyed God as well. I’ve been walking with the Lord since 1996. I still do ministry as I have a faith based sober living home. When I heard God call me to this new way of ministry I was scared and nervous but I did it. Prospecting was the hardest thing I had to do. I don’t drink or party and everyone knew I was a Christian. In this world no one likes a fake. Thank God my Brothers excepted me for who I am and my beliefs all these years later. I have been able to help more people in this life then I ever did riding with an MM. I do have to say doing this is not something everyone can do. I am happy for you and what God has done. Much respect

In fact, there are almost 40,000 different Christian denominations each with their own respective take and interpretation on the religion. Did you know Jesus never had a four walled church? A gun or a sword should have never been picked up in Jesus' name. Unfortunately, his teachings have been manipulated by Man over the centuries. What would Jesus think about Pastors pulling up in Bentleys when Sister Johnson just got kicked out of her home?
