I never read any book of Chetan Bhagat, & most of the time his image to me was just of a FanBoy of BJP ideology. But this interview changed my mind. I really liked the interview very much, even I am 5 days late to watch it. Akash Bhai I tried to hit your join button several times but with debit card it doesn't work. I am an admirer of your work, usually I hardly manage to watch live or same day. Even I watch 1½hr SNL in 3 parts in rest of the weekdays but never leave any show unwatched.

My mom is a house wife, a very simple, peaceful and religious lady and her information source is these news channels - she was so aggressive on Rhea Sushant issue, she said "Rhea should rot in hell" I asked her why she thinks so strongly about it, and how she came to this conclusion that Rhea has murdered Sushant? or how it affects her or our family - she says "All she learned about through news, a family lost their son, he was murdered by her, they should get justice.." I asked her, but you say we should not interfere in others matters, when our neighbor Bhatiya's uncle's daughter committed suicide, you did not say anything about that, did it not bother you?, and do you know how many are dying from coronavirus and hunger in our country? She said "Modi ji has everything in control, and there are no corona cases or deaths in India...." Can we not fu$%&*ng sue these news channels??

Some people criticise that Chetan Bhagat changes his stand often times...but I find it as good quality. Nothing is absolutely correct or wrong, a person should repeatedly do assessments of the changing situations and make his/her opinion. Flowing water is always better otherwise it becomes stale.

Thus, I feel we have this collective consciousness build throughout these years, which now turned into our values. So, great point when you made when you said baghat sir changed his values. So, it's better if we all do the same. And we will change them once we are aware about them. So, it's better to criticize oneself before the world. So, I hope everyone learns to criticize. I as a 19y/o m still in process. But it feels powerful to be skeptic to be honest.

In one of the political satire with, ramchandra guha he said, mahatma Gandhi is a flawed character. There are things that you can learn from him and there are is demerits. As on mahatma Gandhi and lal bhadhur sashtri's birthday. People are having their own circus. This whole video is an eye opener for the guy's like me in their early 20's.

@@omgomg6602 I'm a dalit myself and I would suggest you to actually read his books to understand the nuances behind his thinking, not blindly make statements. Gandhi and Ambedkar both had different views on how to resolve caste issues, none were evil by their own nature. Respect both of them if you consider yourself grateful of the freedoms those 2 men have got India.

I am one of those 'aunties' who grew up in Mumbai in the 60s and 70s. We never discussed caste and had friends across religions, regions and castes. As kids we used to say that a day will come when we will become greater than America! Today, many of us are saddened to see this type of divisive dialogue. Chetan, your opinion on Indians believing that they are great, so there is no need to make India any greater is so true. We are living in a fools paradise. Akash... God bless your grit and determination to open the eyes of people.

Really loved the way how Chetan delivered his message straight without any sugar coating.. Also appreciate akash that he did ask the difficult question to Chetan :" what do u think of improving your writing..." Frankly I got shocked when he asked that question. To have a celebrity come over ur show and then dare to ask such questions to them,,, that's actual journalism.... Kudos akash
