If you are from Lucknow then you must read poems of Kavi Bhushan from Trivikrampur (Tikwapur). Read Shivraj Bhushan and Shiv bavani by Kavi Bhushan you will be amazed. He used Braj language. Ithink you will understan it easily.

The pot of gold was actually the story of maloji bhosle,shivaji raje grandfather,who obtained a large jagir with title raje inwhich was included the grishneswar temple in ruins .he donated all his acquired property to construction and maintanence of the temple saying I shall get victorious earn more but temple must be built .he was rewarded with 2 sons shahaji and sharifji late in life above 40 for those days .he died early at 50 or so .there are other stories current among Marathas.

Torna (Prachandagad) was the first fort captured by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.....not Purandar The first significant win for Maharaj was 1659, battle of Pratapgarh......not Purandar What is her obsession with Purandar? Please correct me if I am wrong.

@Indraneel @Sumit @Siddhesh You need to read more. First fort won Torna. First battle against Adilshahi was faught near the Purandar fort. (Baji Pasalkar laid his life in that battle). Also she has spent 20 years of her life on this so she isn't misleading. You need more study

Good show. The lady is clearly in awe of Shivaji. Nothing wrong with that. But she doesn’t know basic details about who was ruling Andhra then or that there were great emperors down south too.Can you pls find historians of andhra too- someone who knows about Kakatiya dynasty and Vijaynagar empire. Would love to the engineering of hanging pillar of lepakshi etc and the literature boom in Telugu in 1500s, especially . There are so many shows to be done even about other languages too. Pls do and a do a great service to Indians in general

Ranveer, with historians like Vikram Sampath, Meenakshi Jain, Sanjeev Sanyal, Sahana Vijayakumar, Sandeep balkrishna. You get this lady, who can’t articulate a sentence without jumping topics , so reserved and ensures not to “hurt sentiments” when the entire Mughal community massacred Hindus, This was one of the if not the worst guest on your show. Shivaji died in 1668 while Aurangazeb died in 1707. Shivaji was a king, but Aurangazeb was Emporer, greatest. Under Aurangazeb our GDP was 27%. His empire was stretched from Khyber Pass to almost Kerala.
