So, a person scheduled a meeting with a police officer about official police matters and was shocked when the police officer came to the meeting in uniform? These people are ridiculous. They are looking to be offended.

I hope they reduce the place to no white students at all. The school can then dumb down to the level of stupidity prevalent among the remaining sheep. Whites should shun SJW schools. Fuck it, why expose yourselves to abuse, sanctioned by the school administrators and teachers. In time, the school either reforms back into a viable situation, or wither and die. As it is, if I were an employer, a degree from that school would ruin any resume. It signals likely trouble ahead.

WASHINGTON - The Trump administration asked the Supreme Court late Thursday to overturn the Affordable Care Act - a move that, if successful, would bring a permanent end to the health insurance program popularly known as Obamacare and wipe out coverage for as many as 23 million Americans. In an 82-page brief submitted an hour before a midnight deadline, the administration joined Republican officials in Texas and 17 other states in arguing that in 2017, Congress, then controlled by Republicans, had rendered the law unconstitutional when it zeroed out the tax penalty for not buying insurance - the so-called individual mandate. The administration’s argument, coming in the thick of an election season - as well as a pandemic that has devastated the economy and left millions of unemployed Americans without health coverage - is sure to reignite Washington’s bitter political debate over health care.

I disagree on Student Loan needs to end. It needs to be reformed for sure. In my opinion Student Loans shouldn't be a rubber stamp, instead you have to apply for it. It would only be granted to major that is likely to be employed. For example student loans shouldn't be offered to English majors but to a major that is in high demand at the time. Second your grades should also be a factor. If you're getting Cs your student loan shouldn't be renewed. Third student loans should be competieve and be allowed to be defaulted on. That way student loans would be less likely offered to low employable majors as it would be a major risk.

@Suzaku455 6 жыл бұрын
It's only a suggestion I have, but obviously ultimately if they're using their English major to get into Law School, than yeah that could be used to factor into giving you a job. Another factor if you're trying to get a degree for job advancement. Example, if I'm Engineering field and I want a major to qualify for a job promotion, than sure it's also worth while. As for race it shouldn't be a factor at all, it should be based on merit and potential ability to pay. I wouldn't care if Biology student white, black, asian or Gray alien, that should weigh more than a any Sociology. In the case of rich Women's study it should have a large negative impact on qualifying for the loan as it's greater risk, and will certainly less likely qualify for less government grants (which should only be based on economical ability) oppose to poor Engineering student.

When we were looking at colleges around Wisconsin if they said just about anybody could get in. My daughter crossed them off her list immediately and we left because she didn't believe they were a good school. One that would challenge her. She's half Mexican she wasn't looking for special treatment even though she had to pay her way through school herself. There was just no way we could do the $40,000 a year in George Mason on the East coast she got into. She was very sad about that but I did warn her only to apply to places with full rides for people in our position. Me on disability and all. She ended up at UWM and was happy for a time then things changed as they do and she asked to go by her dad. I hated it but I knew getting away from the people here would be good for her so she finished at UT-Dallas. Before she was 25 she was the assistant general manager of La Quinta hotel Lewisville. She worked her way up from a desk clerk to number 2 in charge of a hotel in 2 years. She never ceases to amaze me. I guess you can do alot with a business degree and being bilingual in Texas doesn't hurt. She's engaged and they just had a son who I can't wait to meet! She earned everything she has. At one point in high school I had to talk her out of taking all AP classes because I didn't want her to break before she got to college! She graduated with honors. She is very proud of her Mexican heritage and is marrying a Dominican. Bringing more new blood to our family! It's wonderful. After my other 2 marry who knows what nationalities we'll get to learn about their customs and we can intergrate into our own. Both my granddaughters are half black. They are so beautiful! I sing You are my Sunshine to them. The eler is a hyper little monkey! Always climbing all over everything and everyone! 😂😂😂😂 I loved that when my kids were little but my body just can't take it anymore. That make me sad because I'd love to ruff house with her. She has to settle for hide and seek. She's good at that too because she's such an itty bitty thing. I loved being a mom and I am loving being a grandma too! I just love all the babies! I think if I could have adopted the world I would have. I also think I was right to stop at 3 kids. That last one was, is a real hand full. She's almost 20, lives with her dad but believe me, she's the responsible one. I gave up pounding my head against the wall that is my x-husband years ago. He's almost completely incapable of taking care of himself. Not because of any disability. It's all in his head. His fears and his dumb decisions. SEP man. Ash and I know how to work together from when we lived together but she wanted out. This was the closest to on her own that she could afford. He doesn't babysit but since he doesn't drive either she has to drive him everywhere. So she only get what her one daughter gets for being behind because she came 3 mos early. My itty bitty. The next one pulled the whole 10 mos. You can't tell any of my kids what to do. They are not followers. Imagine 3 leaders growing up together. Omg! They are also fiercely independent. They tell me they get that from me which I find curious because I always stayed close to my parents. 🤔😂

Enjoyed seeing your post. After all the events of last spring, I decided to make all reports on Evergreen (and similar schools like Missou ) to be my Reality TV for this 2017-18 school year. LOL! I too would like to see how these people turn out. Will they ever get jobs? Will they spend the next 25years in their parent's basement. How did they get into college in the first place? Are the tax payers paying for their scholarships? They look well fed, well clothed and probably have comfy dorm rooms or apartments. They are so oppressed! Such victims. Poor babies/snowflakes! They should take a one semester program somewhere like Libya or Sudan, Iran or North Korea, to find out what oppression really looks like!

+Terthna I know. I have been saying that these colleges are not preparing students for real life. But I was looking at the situation of preparing for future jobs. Their behavior online is looked at by potential employers as well. If they act like idiots on their college campuses, how can they be trusted to act in front of a business's clients. (It is not that they don't know they are surrounded by smart phones!) But you raise another great point. If they are allowed to get away with anti-social/illegal behavior on campus, why wouldn't they think they can get away with it in real life? They are over 18 in college, get convicted of something, they have a record. Not necessarily good for getting a good job.

John Reed, the difference, as I see it, is that the hostility in this case isn't coming from the "bad guys" and usual scumbags that cops deal with on the daily. This hostility is much worse, as its coming from a bunch of privileged entitled twats. On the street you can have good days mixed with shitty days. The level of harassment from students and staff in this case is different. It is constant and continually escalating. On the street you have support, at this college she had none. I hope she gets millions.

Ugh, the promoted attitude towards police is disgusting. If you want police to do a better job, you ask them to be part of a community event to get them to see the community that is being protected. Let people see the police in a way outside law enforcement. You can call the police out when they do something wrong, but you shouldn't just create an air of mistrust. In Birmingham, the police chief had been actively engaging with the community, and like across the country, homicides went down to 62 in 2014. Last year, there were 115. A blanket negative view of police, instead of one that can recognize the need for good law enforcement and that seeks to improve whatever local issues there might be, literally costs lives. And I don't mean literally as figuratively.

It's so silly, but my favorite thing from the disruptions that the students caused at both Chief Brown's ceremony and the faculty emeritus meeting, were that the students would always eat the cake. It just says something about how petty, self-serving, and morally-bankrupt they are, and perhaps shows an addictive demeanor. There's a link between a high-carb diet and mental illness, as well. I do think there's a connection between lack of free-thinking and being mentally troubled.

Nothing in life is ever "balanced." If you want a stable, sane, logical and reasoned culture in this country, the thrust of sociopolitical culture needs to be at least on the right side of center and off the current path we now find ourselves as a country. Benjamin would have continued as a person on the left if he had not been forced into his present consciousness by his own capacity for reason and logic when faced with the reality of a lunatic left. He is like many liberals who find themselves running away from the asylum that they espoused and supported. I can tell that Ben has mixed emotions on letting go but he is a voice of reason and I give him kudos for consistently calling out the destructive left. He still needs to choose his associates more wisely.

@energ8t

Margo Channing “Balanced” meaning more people IN agreement than OUT of agreement and with less of an ideological gap between the extremes on both sides; the larger that gap, the greater the chaos. At the moment the Left appears to be driving the illogical, indoctrinating propaganda (schools, media, movies, social media...) and distorting the very universal principles which glues the nation together. While there may be an Alt-Right which has formed, I agree that it is ostensibly more enantiodromian in nature. Personally, I think much of this has come down from the “top” and is driven by a globalist elite who seek to disintegrate through racial, sex, gender and ideological differences. Why this is happening I wager it is linked to the same impetus which we see behind such programs like 2030 Agenda and Codex Alimentarius for example. International government guiding public policy behind the scenes and conducting social engineering through emotional content on a population that is becoming less and less educated with Critical Thinking.
@Muck006
@Muck006 6 жыл бұрын
To be able to achieve a balance you need two things: a) two or more sides that are DIFFERENT are ALLOWED to exist (currently only one side is "allowed" by the media and society ... because the media has declared the others to be evil). b) each side must RESPECT the right of the other to exist! This is nonexistent and the widespread use of thought-terminating cliches and unproven allegations shows it. The recent attempts to disturb and deplatform talks/lectures with Christina Hoff Sommers, Jordan Peterson, Yaron Brook and Sargon of Akkad show that "the left" completely lack any respect for the other side.

Brown could have screwed Bridges after being ordered to stand down. She should have sent a memorandum for record to Bridges and cc'ing the other police departments and Olympia press stating her understanding of the order, her concern that it would lead to escalation of violence, the potential that this escalation would require the aid of Olympia and other police departments at significant cost to the communities, and that neither she nor her officers would accept responsibility for what occurred. This would have turned up the temperature on Bridges immediately, forcing him to defend the indefensible (in the wider community's view) or cancel the order and outrage the students. As it is, the taxpayer has been screwed by Bridges in numerous ways. There's the settlement to Weinstein and his wife, the settlement to Lowe, those legal costs, and also the legal costs for all the other ongoing suits such as Brown's. Further, there are the costs of the new VP's, the equity committee and it's cockamamie ideas, and get-in-canoe festival, the pizzas and colas bought for the hungry of colour, and any other pay offs to thugs, ne'er do wells, and the people-of-coloured-hair-throwing-tantrums community. And let's not forget to include the costs of the 20% decline in enrollment. Oh yeah, other police departments had to despatch police to Evergreen and pay overtime to the officers. Someone in authority needs to fuck Bridges hard. Cut his pay and benefits. If he's living in uni-owned housing, as presidents often do, sell it under the guise of the uni's economic hardship. If he has a uni-own car, sell that too. Cancel any of the uni-paid memberships he has with the Chamber of Commerce, etc. Eliminate his travel expenses and per diems - top admin often attend conferences all over the country. Further, impose austerity on the uni that kills all the funding for anything non-essential, such as invited speakers, Day of Absence nonsense, etc. The ginger girl is in the thick of all the action. What's her story?

So what I get from this from some Evergreen staff is in order to fight racism one has to be racist against whytes. Anything that is a comfort to whyte is suspect of being steeped in racism therefore whytes are not permitted to be comfortable. Every time a sentiment like the what I just stated is espoused by academia and racial activist and in turn exposed a new member of whyte nationalism/identitarianism is created. A similiar situation has happened before with black Americans and one doesn't have to look very far to see the results. Seems we are bound to a continuous cycle in this nation.
