Apparently the company that provided the Chinese with weapons was American and happened to be in D.C. (Probably why we don't see them as much in other areas). The massive amount of spies probably also added on

I love how you did not understand the increase in sawdust buying. Its a historical nod in the terminal after the yellow dye part. Increased buying of lumber industry byproducts. The US use to add sawdust to bread in the 1900's and rock powder to make it super white and people would buy it since they loved white bread.

The sawdust was mostly to bulk it out and save expensive real ingredients, not alter the colour.

The Yellow dye ink used in the printer was also used in coloring the food, a nod to the Cancer causing Red Dye used in children's candy and soda drinks, and also to the FDA Removing 6 Synthetic Flavoring Substances from Food Additives List, as they too were cancer causing chemicals. (synthetically-derived benzophenone, ethyl acrylate, eugenyl methyl ether (methyl eugenol), myrcene, pulegone, and pyridine). A wide variety of additives, colorings, and flavorings in food and vape products were determined to cause cancer.

The Radio Broadcast mentions "boys dying at the alaska front", so this is obvious propaganda from before the bombs fell probably even from before liberation of achorage. It reminds me of "Tokyo Rose" from WWII

I never got a chance to play fallout 3 (long story- my mom sucks and wouldn’t let me) so this video was extremely helpful. I’ve always wondered why the Chinese robots always spawn at mama dolce’s in FO76 and now this lore really put everything together.

i think i know why there is radioactive waste and gouls in the place. in the generator room there is a spear like tank with way too many pipes and alot of high end looking control consoles. which tells me the factory had its own small scale reactor

In one of my early playthroughs, I was walking through the wastes, when suddenly a radio signal poped up, so of course I tuned onto it. It was a Chinese person saying different phrases on repeat. After a few minutes of "Hotter, hotter, colder", I found the source of the signal, the corpse of a Chinese soldier ghoul and on him was a Chinese uniform, a few bullets but no firearm and a Chinese officer sword.

What kind of father would name his son Joe Jones? I knew a man, before he died 15 years ago at the age of 52, whose last name was Orlando. What was his first name? What did his father name him? Orlando. Yes, his name was Orlando Orlando. *facepalm* So, Joe Jones isn't too far fetched. ;-) Here are a couple of others that I found online: "My son had a friend named Chuck Wood (of course, in school, they'd call the kids by their last name first. . . ) In our small town, a frequent name in the newspaper was Rusty Cart. And here, in Texas, a famous philanthropist was named Ima Hogg." I mean, in my high school they would have taunted Chuck by asking "How much wood can a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck would Chuck Wood?" :-/ Some parents are just mean.

you know that the reason could be way darker right? it could be that the car flew up the building due to the near energy of the nuclear explosion pushing the car into the sky, like a rock being thrown, and landed on the building.

In a future fallout game they should let you play inside the world before the bombs drop for a decent part of the game so u can really feel what its like to lose everything in a apocalypse ,imagine having relationships with characters and making choices that lead to the fate of your lives and others...then to see what its like to survive right after the bombs drops but of course a storyline would bring it all together mixed with the lore from the other games.

Jamie Clarke i know but even if its not the game itself a dlc or some quests more related to before the bombs with cannon lore from all the games i just think the best part about ox’s video’s is when he covers hidden stories and history that isnt talked about and things that are un answered ...i think the game should focus on that it would help us understand more about the wasteland because the bombs dropping wasn’t the only horrible things going on before the war.

Oxhorn never unlocked the very hard locked doors on that one platform underneath where the Chinese sergeant was, dropping down from that same walkway, you can angle it just right and get to the lower platform, when unlocking the two very hard doors, it reveals the brick wall, indicating, like some on forums pointed out, that this section of the game was unfinished.

Id say that the water floor room was some kind of reservoir to feed into an unseen nuclear reactor that powered the facility. Explains all the radioactive waste. And a ton of prewar tech was nuclear powered, so its not far fetched to think this facility was equipped with some kind of nuclear power producing ability

Wow. This is what Fallout has devolved to with #4? VR roller coaster ride? Fitting since it's looks like Disneyworld. Fallout VR doesn't support DLC - This what happens you buy games within 5 years of it's alpha build release. The early access version that is standard price $60 + the season pass bandwagon that is encouraging even more incomplete games at even higher prices. Let me guess, VR costs more than the standard version?
