I used to make this with my grandfather as a child. But as u said, everybody does it differently. In addition, he made starch and other items from Cassava😊 Miss my grandpa so much!

As always nice to see you Chrisal❤ I do my cassava the same way except I add some chopped hot pepper and a little olive oil. I prefer the cassava in smaller pieces though. Nice one Baidawi👌👌

Yes. I know about that cassava bread you described. I live not oo far from the Amerindian village in Arima. I used to get from them a few years back. Tasted it in my childhood too. Love it.

In the British Virgin Islands we call Casava Bread, "Bong-Bong Bread." It is made plain with nothing added to it.

I know the cassava bread you described, it was my childhood favourite eaten with fried fish and pepper sauce. it is found in some Caribbean, Latin American and west African countries; mostly thin as the one you showcased, except in Jamaica where it is dense (bami)..

Yes, i know about Cassava bread, my mum made it together with farrine and the water drained was used for starching clothes. She also did fried Cassava. This was done the day after with left overs that taste good too. Cassava bread can last very long Thanks for the memories ❤
