Tawatur… If your belief in the book is based on the book, then the way of transmission has no meaning, but if your belief in the book is based on the way of transmission, then your belief has no meaning… We did not believe the people that brought the Quran, but we believed the Quran. The person who delivers a message has done a human effort, but his human effort is not responsible for the truth it conveys nor is it responsible for my belief in that truth.... The truth is from God and my belief in the truth is not from that person, and thats what really matters... The issue of tawatur is a silly issue, because the credibility of the Qur’an was never due to its attribution to Muhammad or because so-and-so companion transmitted it, but rather the credibility of the Qur’an is generated from itself and the testimony of the text itself. The believers did not believe the Qur’an because Muhammad brought it, but rather they believed it when they heard it and knew that it was the truth... ( 28:53 ) : “And when it is recited to them they say: We believe in it, it is the truth from our Lord” ( 5:83 ) : “when they listen to that which has been revealed to the messenger, you see their eyes overflow with tears, because of their recognition of the truth” ( 72:1-2 ) : “Lo! We have heard a marvelous Quran, which guides to righteousness, so we believed in it” All of these verses confirm to the believer that the verses are self evident and their validity stems from them and not from men or a method of transmission. On the contrary, the infidels were the ones who wanted to attribute the Qur’an to a man of high social standing in order for them to believe him... “And they said: Oh that this Quran had but been revealed to a great man of the two cities!” ( 43:31 )

I was brought up into christianity, but i couldn't pray Jesus when i was young or pray the father trough Jesus, it fell so wrong to me. One day i ask a nun if i can only pray the father, she said no you need to pray our lord Jesus Christ. i was so sad about this answer, then i ask the priest who i was very friendly with, and he said to me almost the same thing. It was like the world was falling around me. i tough i was the only 1 who believed in 1 God alone without association. i became agnostic because i tough no religions exist like my belief. 10 years later i start getting interest in theology again. i started reading the quran, i had 0 knowledge about this. i only tough it was a religion in middle east only for them. when i start reading for the first time i didnt believed at first what i was reading, it was exactly the same faith i had back around christians, the true monotheism!!!! tears start rolling into my eyes, i was the most happy man for a moment. I accept Islam with joy without hesitation even if for 10 years i was becoming confident and arrogant in my atheism/agnostism beliefs. SubhanAllah. I had the beliefs of 1 God alone without partners but they said to me 3 in 1. after they said to me: no God, and i somewhat believed it. May The Most Merciful guide every lost souls to Islam if He will. Sorry for the mistakes, French is my first language. Alamdulilah All praise belong to The Most High who guide us to the true path.

We have a verse in the quran that said: Lakum dinukum wa lyadin. You have your faith i have mine. We need to respect everyone beliefs. And i think you misread my comment or maybe its just me. I said "or pray the father trough Jesus" because in christianity, i dont know if you know your bible well, it said no one can know/reach (depending on wich translation) the father except trough me (Jesus) . Thats why the nun told me that. Always look at yourself before judging someone and when you do that you will never judge anybody. You can judge my faith tho i dont have any problem with that. For every thing that we "don't know" we can only "believe" in it! If there is something we certainly "know" we don't need to believe in it, because we already know.
