The problem with this argument is that we don't know if GT is canon or not yet at this point, considering it doesn't match the timeline. Why didn't Goku use Super Saiyan Blue in GT? Why didn't Beerus or Whis show up in GT? Why didn't anyone mention the other universes, the gods, or anything about that? Because Super was made AFTER GT, there are way too many plot holes to make a solid statement that GT Goku would destroy Super Goku. Because Super was made after GT, we can't make a solid, for sure statement, because of the timeline, because we don't know if GT is canon or not, because Beerus and Whis, the other universes, Zeno, and everything else, wasn't mentioned or even thought about, and because the power of Super Saiyan Blue evolved, any of the Super Villains, and Ultra Instinct weren't used or mentioned. So because of all these reasons, I don't think GT Goku would beat Super Goku considering all these plot holes. And if this was an April Fools joke, then you have 5000 iq.

ok so lets get a few things straight alright? First off. When anybody tries to say shit like "zeno is universe buster" you need to realize that the type of power that Zeno has versus someone like Goku or Vegeta or even Beerus and whis (except for beerus having hakai) is completely different. Zeno isnt """strong""", he's literally GOD. He has control over everything. The only other people who have god powers are people with God Ki (Like Beerus and Goku having hakai) Nobody in the series so far has the same type of power to match Zeno even remotely so its not fair to compare characters based off of strength and then use Zeno as an argument since Zeno hasnt been shown to have any fighting capabilities. Another thing people need to just accept is that Super completely broke the power scaling of characters. After battle of gods the levels of power that characters achieved was so out of whack and all over the place that its pretty much meaningless at this point to try to pinpoint their power with feats that they have pulled off (i.e. Planet Buster, Galaxy Buster, Universe Buster, etc) There is no possible way through raw strength that a character like goku or even beerus or whis or the grand priest could destroy the universe. Its not possible. You cant punch the universe. The only thing people say as proof of goku being a "universe buster" is what the elder kai said about him when he was fighting beerus where the shockwaves were tearing the fabrics of reality/the universe. It wasnt Goku's strength doing that, it was the clashing of God Ki between Goku and Beerus causing it. Since god ki is extremely destructive and gods are supposed to be banned from fighting each other for this exact reason as was said between beerus and champa. The only "universe buster" is Zeno or the Super Dragon because Zeno is literally god and the Super Dragon uses Magic. In the broly movie they said he destroyed galaxies but he didnt just SHOOT A GODDAMN GALAXY. he went from planet to planet blowing them up. (I know broly isnt canon but its worth pointing that out). Last thing people need to understand is that power scaling as a whole is so inaccurate since we dont use power levels anymore. There's no conclusive way to just say "this character is stronger than this one based off of this thing I saw him do or the way that they were fighting". because you could chalk it up to the fact that animation isnt always consistent and just because one punch that Ultra Instinct goku did against jiren looked ridiculously powerful doesnt say anything about how strong the punch actually was. At this point people are just so obsessed with proving who the strongest character is or why their favorite character is the strongest (my best friend being a vegeta fanboy and saying that he's on par with goku now lul) that people are bullshitting their own evidence and trying to create their own convoluted way that it could make sense for goku to be stronger than superman or for him to blow up the universe but the reality is that the show isnt about that anymore. It used to be about levels of power (with the power level) but now the power creep has gone so far out the window that trying to gauge their power is damn near impossible. SSG and SSB broke the series beyond repair unless their retcon it all. There are no real stakes anymore since everyone is so strong now that nothing actually feels like a threat.

Looking in to the power scaling and the potential of GT and their villains as well as the damage that it could bring as well as the additional allies around the universe; it's a big reason why I still side for GT over Super especially Super Saiyan 4 having great potential as they get stronger over time and a bit more adaptive then the Super Saiyan God forms.
