My eyes instantly watered hearing "mayday mayday mayday firefighter down". No other words can do that to me especially on the fire ground.

He was a personal friend of mine. Hearing this hurts but it also shows us the danger's these brave people face. Any call could be their last Good Bless them all. RIP my friend DG.

Crying in tears till this day come I miss my uncle I wish he was back whoever dislike he was a good man and saved the world now he in a better place. 😢😢😢😢

I was dispatching the morning of this fire. I've shed many tears for the Gordon family and think of Daryl often. It will be 5 years this Thursday and I'll remember Daryl's sacrifice until the day I die. He was the epitome of a true hero.

This is hard to hear your adrenaline goes through the roof and panic sets in and the chain of command is the biggest thing in a situation like this getting manpower and assignments where you need your truck and hose company's I've lost three brothers in my 7+ years of service it's always hard to handle but at the end of the day you gotta get back on the truck and push on for your brothers
