I totally get how you feel with Little man. You are doing great supporting hime. My son is 19 and is high functioning autistic along with ADHD. He loves old machines and has fixated on various ones over the years- we have old cameras, sewing machines, typewriters, telephones and many more. I have learned to embrace his love of these things and have had many adventures finding them. Enjoy the craziness and the memories you are creating.

I had one of the First Cabbage Patch doll when I was maybe 11 years old back in the 1976that is such an adorable doll I gave it to my first niece she's gone! 14:41 this makes me smile!❤😊! I was that little girl that played her Barbie dolls and her Cabbage Patch until High School. And did not care what anybody else thought about it!!🎉

I love thrifting! My local goodwill did a remodel recently and now it’s probably about 80% clothes. The craft aisle has been given on little space on a shelf amongst the electronics.

I love thrifting. I found a set of Knitters Pride interchangeable knitting needles. It came with the size needles of 15,17,19 as well as extra cords and end stoppers. It was a more then fair price $30. I would like the other set as there were 2 different sets.

Using the dessicant pack (like you find in new purses and stuff) can often help with the basement smell. And baking soda.

I had one of the little cabbage patch baby dolls when I was a kid. It’s a little bit different than your doll. I named her Susie & one time lost her in kmart lol. I cried through the whole store for her & someone turned her into customer service. I still have her ❤

You found some great deals. My grandson likes to look for vintage items at our outlet. They charge everything by the pound. Sometimes not the best deal. Have never found yarn there though. 😂😂 Have a wonderful vacation. Your doll is adorable.

Do you know little man is getting more mature and actually smarter I noticed. He still comical like a little boy, but he appears to be smarter and well spoken. With homeschool, it will speed him up graduating from class to class even just spending three or four hours a day doing work. The family that used to live next-door to me she homeschooled five of them and one of them at 10 was already in South Moore south of high school 10th grade

You'll have to tell us what you use to clean her up. I've got a boy doll from 1986 that was gifted to me from my brother with hope I would get pregnant. Within 1 month - success - I was pregnant!!💕❤ Thought would be twins dye to my husband and I were both in line for a set of twins AND taking fertility drugs. Turned out 1 hyper active and ADHD baby boy!😊

Oftentimes things at the Goodwill bins is stuff that they tried to sell at the regular Goodwill store, but it didn't sell. That's probably why your doll and the phone had prices on them.

Hi Jennifer and Lucas aka Little Man, I looked up girls names in the 90"s and Jennifer was the most used for years around that time. Another name was Emily between 1990-99 in Mich. Kayla was another name. Whatever you pick will be just right I am sure. Did you ever name your last mannequin? I never heard what you named her. You definitely got a good deal at the thrift store. I just started watching this and I wanted to tell you that, somewhere in the Pacific Northwest, along a trail, a person hung an old phone on a tree. I believe there is a note there to call and talk to your loved ones who were gone. It showed people talking on that phone and they said it felt good to just talk even though nobody was there to answer. Google this. Pacific Northwest's Squaxin Park Wind Phone. I loved the idea. So, I went thrift shopping myself and bought myself a slimline phone. I really wanted a dial phone. I have talked to my mom and one time when I was having a really hard time. I used it to talk to God. I know I can talk to God any time but it was different talking into that phone. So, Little Man, enjoy your phone. I get it. Here are a couple of other KZfaq videos about it.
