This tutorial will teach you how to work a Circular or Disappearing Loop Cast On. This Cast On is useful when beginning a knitting pattern that start with a small number of stitches worked in the round.

I've tried like ten different ways to do a "provisional" cast-on for the Yggdrasil afghan. This cast-on looks like the winner for ease of creation and best final look. FINALLY!

seems easier than the Emily Ocker's cast on (requires transfering stitches from crochet hook to dps).
