AA is a good choice, id also give keys to TheSpiffingBrit and LetsGameitOut. Theres a good way to stress test and exploit the game to hell and back before release.

Probably just need to adjust the XP with certain items - make playgrounds give 10 or 20 instead of 100, for example

@@blackhammer5035 they may take away XP, but it would probably be difficult to do level reversions if the XP dips back down. E.g. if you need 1000 XP for level X, get it, then delete something, I could see them reduce your ex people over a thousand but still keep you at that level.

If I had a nickel for every time a KZfaqr with a frog-based PFP was invited by Paradox Interactive to stream Cities Skylines 2 on a crane 50 meters in the air in Germany, and then proceeded to post a video about doing something absurd/ridiculous in the game within a minute of each other on September 8, 2023, I’d have two nickels. It’s not a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice, and it’s extra weird that this video and the video martincitopant posted came out within a minute of each other…

Building a bunch of useless crap to grind XP is exactly what I was worried about when I heard about the XP mechanic. This doesn't make the game fun for me; in fact it sucks the fun out, because I either need to avoid doing the obviously-superior strategy, or go along with it and have it cheapen the game. CS1 is one of my favorite games of all time. I really hope they rebalance stuff in CS2 to avoid exploits like this. You really, REALLY shouldn't be able to just buy your way to the next city level, especially with less funds than you get as a reward for that level.

not really a coincidence, there is about 20 or more other youtubers that also got sponsored by paradox and have released cities skylines 2 videos today. pretty cool of them to let so many youtubers even some with less than 100k subs to have the game early.

i would had loved if you were able to showcase your shananaghans over the course of a longer duration. i would had loved the content if your video was 20min long or longer! How you go through such processes and things is so well done, perhaps you did the video to only be about 10min partly for that reason.

I agree that I prefer those kinds of videos, but he's stated before the algorithm doesn't like them. He's doing this full time now so he has to make his money and play by the algorithms rules. Which is sad for us but ultimately great for AA.
