I remember when I was a kid I got a promotional Pepsi machine mod from the Sims website and I had a Sim who basically lived off of Pepsi. What I'm getting at here is next time you're doing a hyper limited run where you're cutting out kitchens, see if anyone has modded in vending machines, because it'd be deeply funny to see one of the tormented characters in your challenge runs subsisting off of nothing but soda and corn chips.

My favorite thing about The Sims 4 is that every sim on one lot shares a single brain cell. So the more sims you have in your family or on your lot, well... You saw what happened in the video.

@@ambiguousamphibian if you have testing cheats on, you should be able to shift click the ground where you want your sim to teleport, and the option will pop up!

Another way it can be done is via giving them wellness level 7, which lets them teleport. But then they might choose to teleport on their own... With testing cheats, you can also add random folks to household without that mod you used

So many of them kept dying from lack of counter space lol, you should've added a trashcan to their rooms along with a nicer bed (the cot gives an uncomfortable moodlet due to it being so cheap and also you know.... a camping cot) next time add the trashcan that just vaporizes anything put in it (it should be the 4000 simoleon one that looks dumb) and a bed that doesn't have the uncomfortable trait 👍

All sims have to share one braincell in Sims 4. And they usually have to share it with my computer. I couldn't imagine 100 of them in one place.

Honestly, I can't believe the game functions without it. This is what happens when devs prioritize appearance over functionality. God forbid a sim begins an interaction before the animation loads

I used to watch a streamer, that one day just gave a tour of his house. What looked like a dude just in a bedroom was 8 dudes living with their wives in a mansion with some giant network, where everyone in the house had a job dedicated to streaming, growing the stream, or taking care of the house.

One troubling part of this is that every single one of these streamers would have the exact same view from their webcam, assuming they used one. The same furniture and lighting. If you didn't know their living situations, that could be a bit creepy after a while

@@Starfloofle lol I started a huge family of vampires with the parents doing nothing but working and raising kids. By the time most of the kids were grown and I could go out and socialize everyone was dead and replaced with new auto generated characters with auto generated names. Tell me why the landgraabs had more white kids and named them things like tai’luni and Mohammed.

Suggestion for next time, use the clubs feature from get together. You'll need a mod (maybe MCCC can do it) that will allow everyone to be in the same club, but you can set activities for them to autonomously do that they wouldn't otherwise. Plus, don't need an oven, just a mini fridge for quick meals and a 1,200$ trash can that deletes the trash and gives you money every time they use it.

Next time you can just teleport them using the testing cheats command, so you dont waste so much time just tearing and rebuilding walls

I'd guess the game considers all furniture to each sim, no matter its reachability. This makes sense for normal homes, as everything is reachable, and even if just half is, it's fine. When you spawned 100 separate, closed-off rooms, there was a 1% chance for a decision making to be fruitful, so most didn't decide anymore on their own.

on one hand, the AI probably melted down trying to handle that many sims at one time. on the other hand, i choose to believe they all died because they didn't have a trash bin to dump their bad food, which hogged up all the counter space and made them starve to death

If you don’t want your sims to constantly set themselves on fire while trying to cook, get rid of the stove and give them a microwave. The food prep is way faster too so they’ll spend less time cooking and more time making you money

Your CPU wasn't even being used that much. I'm pretty sure the game having issues is just the game engine being unable to process that many sims. That's why it allows only 8 in the unmodded game. It's not the issue of your PC, but issue of the game

Funny thing is that it's... Reality in some country. I'm not gonna name it but after seeing dozens of videos I can say that maybe separate cubical are not always there but hundred's of people in one hall or building doing videos or "influencing" is damn real there 😅
