@@kindbud Hell yeah, do it up man! I've had used cars all my life and this is the best new option for a car guy for the price imo. This year they made the gear ratios faster too. All you need is Ktuner plus TSP tune and PRLs Cobra intake with the street maf. At that point you're already pushing 235whp/290trq weighing 2800 lbs. It's a nasty set up to start with. I know cause my buddy has a 2018 with that setup lol he's pulling on WRXs no problem

@@abrahamduartejr2895 I appreciate it. But honestly, there's so much more to know for me. It takes years to understand engines and transmissions inside and out fully. Unless you work on them constantly, it really comes down to reading info and watching videos. Start slow and learn the basics. Once you learn how a car operates and know the parts and what they do, then you can get into more complicated stuff like tuning and modifications. My suggestion is learn everything there is to know about your car and where everything is located. Honestly, once you master that then you can pop the hood of any car and be like oh there's the intake manifold, there's the fuel pump, there's the exhaust header, there's the ignition coils, so on and so on. My point is just learn something new every day. Only way to understand these puzzles called cars. Also recommend forums also. A lot of info and community conversations. Don't be afraid to ask questions either. We all started somewhere and ppl are willing to help.

They only provide a few basemaps with certain mods! But you have to go to a tuner for a custom tune for your specific mods

Yessir I agree with you! Last real vtec experience, never got to play around with the older Honda B series. I know those were really cool with the way vtec hit and the crossover. At the time, my tune had the lower vtec set at 4000rpm and then the higher vtec at around 6000rpm so you essentially get both with these cars. The early one helps you get to the actual vtec point lol. Can’t imagine what these cars are like with a built head and new cams. Must pull real nice and be a joy to drive for real 💪🏾
