A relaxing chat with Claire Casely, known as 'The Fairy Whisperer'.
Claire lives in Magical Dartmoor and is an intuitive artist, researcher, and storyteller, engaging people with faery enchantment through nature, the landscape and creativity.
She has a podcast called Faery Whispering and she also writes and makes faery art.
Claire shares the pixie experience that she had alongside her mum and reveals a mini initiation she was called to, as an introduction to a Fae being, in a local walking spot that she visited.
We also discuss how it's sometimes difficult to discuss our fairy interests with loved ones and how we can manage those situations. Plus pre-cognitive dreams, fairy guides and much much more!

Suddenly, I'm recalling my own fairy experiences. I want to first say that I'm African-American. It's safe to say that for the most part, fairies are not a part of the Black experience. I've only ever heard of one exception...and that was just a few weeks ago. I'm 59 (just about). I won't speak more on that. Suffice it to say, that in my early forties I found myself in a situation of spiritual despair. I was very much OPEN to most concepts, ESPECIALLY if it was the opposite of what I'd known, which was a type of fundamental "Christianity". I dove deep into the beliefs British folklore. I was very receptive to the idea of fairies, angels, and spirit guides. Both of my experiences took place in my bedroom...I forget the order. For one, a fairy appeared to me in a dream. I remember her vividly. She was blond and dressed in yellow and black...just like a bee. I don't recall the dream...she wasn't a part of the dream itself. She more or less "interrupted" the dream by popping up! Her smile was sunshine itself; and she said to me, "Come on!". She then flew into a portal full of light. It was all terribly quick. The other event occurred when I was in my bed. This was during the day. I had the television on. I don't recall what was on but it had my full attention. All of a sudden, a little man walked in front of me at the foot of my bed! He was so fast. He walked as though he was late for an appointment. I got the distinct impression that he was completely unaware of me and that our two planes of existence just so happened to intersect. I relayed both experiences to my sons.

@@jamesetal7088 Yes! When this happened to me, I was living in South Florida, next to an ancient burial ground/national park. I'd have to look up the name of the tribe. We'd recently gone through a hurricane so, things were "stirred up". The primary factor however is that I was open to a new spiritual experience. Now I'm in Albuquerque. There's a pine tree directly outside of my window, on a patch of grass. I'm looking for them to show up either in the tree and/or the flowering bushes next to my flat. We'll see. I saw them a lot when I was in Florida. I was a different person back then.

@@TheFaeryWhisperer He was too quick. He crossed at the foot of my bed. He was average built...neither fat nor skinny. He was just tall enough for me to see his head and shoulders. At the time, I was sitting up in the bed watching t.v.. The bed was a California King and a bit high of the ground; so, perhaps he was about 3 feet tall. It's hard to say. It's like he came out of nowhere from my left and he was gone before he reached the other side of the bed. The color brown is what I associate with him. A very speedy brown little man. Like I stated, I got the distinct impression that he was in a different plane, which intercepted with mine for no more than three seconds. I don't think he was aware of me. I can't explain it anymore than that. It was a very trippy occurrence. It only happened the one time. I'll say this much, since that encounter, not much shocks me. If it were to occur again, I wouldn't be too surprised. The older I get, the more I expect to see.

Lovely :) I really appreciated your discussion on how difficult it can be to manage relationships where sharing our fairy experiences may not be believed or appreciated (or alternatively, where we may not feel safe sharing those experiences with that person). Claire had a lovely experience with her mum!

I watched this partly in the morning when I'm half awake and feeling like. I'm on opiates and weed. I'm careful about what I watch, I'm preparing for a seven day mental diet, no negative thoughts, no negative people around, & your videos first thing sets the tone for the day. I'm so interested in dreams and waking reality, and which is more valid, or equal. & it probably doesn't matter. I feel like I'm in a simulation alot, since 2012. So many synchonicities,

There is so much interesting content in this interview. Dartmoor sounds like such a wonderful place to live in during the lockdown and have magical experiences. Amazing! Jo I saw the fairy sparkle that you mentioned at 1:13:03 after I played the video in slow motion speed of 0.25. There were more sparkles that hovered downwards, diagonally and spiraled and even looking like flickering butterfly wings or two sycamore seeds hovering like a helicopter propeller. They appear at the following times (I have reduced the time codes by two seconds because it takes time to focus on them when you click on them): 1:14:58 (glimmer) 1:16:43 (metallic shine) 1:17:09 (like a fairy fluttering its wings like a butterfly or wooly orb) 1:17:39 (going downwards like a snowflake) 1:18:25 (flew like in a half heart shape) 1:18:44 (very clear like two sycamore seeds hovering like a helicopter propeller) 1:20:30 (like a flickering insect and another one like a dot) 1:20:53 (like a dot that stayed motionless for a moment) They are not effects of the light because some of them such as the half heart shape one appear and disappear from the back of her. There is so much that we do not know about ourselves and nature or the veil that makes this material world which is based on sensory experiences feel like a dream instead. Claire having heard the word Malaika intrigues me. Malaika are also mentioned in the scriptures as angels made of light that help and assist God by informing him about human behavior's. No doubt Claire sensed them well when she decided to clean the area in nature for them. I don't think most people see them in their true form. The beautiful picture Claire drew looks like a humanoid goat. All these experiences come to all of us from the same place from somewhere deep in the other realm. It also reminds me of the character in the film 'The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe' after the children gain access into a magical landscape of another world through a wardrobe. The otherworldly journey that Claire describes also reminds me of the story in the Egyptian book of the dead of being taken into another world across a river like an archetype shared by all humans on a deep level. I have also had similar dreams. Such experiences are also enacted in fantasy and sci-fi movies. Claire is correct about going beyond our material reality. Sigmund Freud and especially Carl Jung considered this realm to be where many things are hidden from our awareness which as Claire explained is accessed through our minds eye or third eye located in the middle of the forehead or as you say Jo through meditation or mindfulness. Mindfulness was actually formed by incorporating the science of cognitive psychology which is about how the mind works and processes information with ancient physiological practices. This also remind me of Raymond Moody's book about OBE's rooted in ancient philosophies. It seems to indicate that we are more than just the mind. By spreading our minds energy which is made in the form of thoughts and feelings into our body we can leave our body. Jo I agree that the lockdown was just another global tragedy that brought minds and souls together as in past pandemics, recessions, conflicts or global terrors when people have shared premonitions and dreams. It certainly shifts our vibrancy on a human level to protect us. No doubt gemstones and crystals such as emerald looking Malaika also have immense power to protect us. I value them too.

When fairy asked for “malachite”- I’m pretty sure it’s not malachite but rather “milk” as a drink. In some older form of languages its pronounced like that. And for example in russian language now milk, or moloko pronounced as “maw-la-ka”

Thanks for your perspective! Makes sense, milk being a traditional gift for the faeries (Pixies or Piskies) in the South West of England. Perhaps both meanings are valid - faeries being tricksters like to give us a riddle to scratch our heads over. The malachite crystal seemed to fit the situation very well at the time also :D x

@@adhdandme2023 in South West England people used to leave out milk or cream or water on the doorstep for the pixies - this was in the times before non dairy options were available. I'm captivated, there are just so many tiny things that look like they're flying around toward the end of the episode, and even a bigger shape that floats in front of her face from the top right corner of her face and down to the left corner of the screen at 1:18:44 you can watch it float by! A few years ago whilst walking along the cliff path west of St Ives in Cornwall I heard beautiful flute music wafting up from somewhere below. I started to climb down the cliff to try to locate the source of the music and I suddenly heard a splash and the music stopped. No human was around that area apart from myself and there was no cove or beach below, just jagged rocks and the sea. Make of that what you will.

In america, there are parents who have set up homeschooling because of the authoritarian way in which the Covid thing was handled , also the "woke" ideology? Is being added to the curriculums ofschools which parents, AND children, take exception, too. This is a really interesting podcast, thank you, andd the interview with claire casely, especially.

Honestly I think this trend of homeschooling isn’t positive as children don’t learn from each other and diversity of students. Particularly ignorance of history and our government is dangerous and brain washing of one religion? Education should broaden your mind and perspective rather than close it and narrow it.
