What a great era that was, I remember going to Chuck E Cheese and playing Pac-Man and so many other games for hours. I'm glad I got to grow up in that era and the golden age of home consoles. Atari up to the PS2 was so much fun. Haven't got into any of the newer systems yet. Does that mean I'm too old? Lol

I found out they might be an early version of Pacman (Puckman) it actually came out Oct 79 in Japan.

They would have purchased the home console rights, and really, at the time, there weren't many companies vying for those rights, as most other consoles at the time were basically glorified pong machines. It wasn't copying in the way you seem to be thinking of - they purchased those rights.

Ahahahaha. Honestly though I agree, it would give more power to those that ever did make it through and would be admitting there's a problem. The sand people WOULD return, and in greater numbers.
