Laylannai and Donzell have been together for 15 months and got engaged in early April 2014. They have no children together, but each of them has a child from a previous relationship. Laylannai says her fiancé is a wimp. He cries when they argue, doesn’t work and he is the woman in their relationship. Donzell says he loves Laylannai and wants to marry her. He says Laylannai knows how to push his buttons and she does it often.

Y'all are sounding like abusers I hear about. "Oh if they hated me or wanted to get away why didn't they?" You hear in the proceeding she went looking for him when he did leave. And until it was shown she was actually a threat to his life he can't really get a restraining order or anything because why would he need one? He was beaten down so bad by her attitude and 'promise' for love that he really did lose all self-respect for himself. It happens a lot. People fall in love with others and become blind by that love. They think if they show enough love the other person will change in how they act or feel towards them. It wasn't until this proceeding that he was shown the light from the Judge and that he didn't need that woman in his life any longer.
