Our original idea for this episode was that we would celebrate the 35th anniversary of the North American release of the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) by giving a short history lesson about the console and playing a few of our favorite games. But someplace along the way, it’s also evolved into a cautionary tale of how to keep from getting ripped off when buying old game systems. So in addition to what we originally planned, we're going to restore a broken console as well as share some tips on how to keep from getting scammed when buying vintage computers and consoles.
