Sir, what is physical intuition behind linear and non linear dynamical system? Like, I got the mathematical reason how given dynamical system can be linear or non linear but how we will distinguish it physically

Sir, why consider only coupled differential equation to represent 2d dynamical system , why not two non coupled differential equation ? Sir

Two separate (non-coupled) system means we have two one-dimensional dynamical systems. For example, one simple pendulum in your lab and another pendulum in your friend's college is an example of a non-coupled system. Therefore, if the system is coupled, then its dimensionality increases (when compared to the non-coupled counterpart).
