I had my grandmothers pearls, but they were stolen years ago. Now I am looking to build my own pearl collection so that I can pass them on to my daughter, then her daughter. I love pearls and honestly wear them all the time, even with a tshirt and jeans. Pearls are my favorite "gem" stone...their connection to living nature, especially the water, just appeals to me in a way no other gem can.

I have pearls on a cream sweater. I love wearing pearl stud earrings. I have 4 pearl bracelets and 3 strands of pearl earrings. Yes, I like pearls.

When in my 20s I used to wear pearl jewelry but, since the pearls weren't real, sooner or later I'd see scratches on them or the white color fading... So last year I bought a pair of 14K gold earrings that I never take off. The advantage is that the "pearls" (not too big, not too small) being made of gold don't have the color fading, don't scratch, I can wash my hair while wearing them, I can swim in the sea... All in all, I think it was a great investment. I wear them with jeans, beautiful dresses...They enhance any outfit. ☺ 🌷💕

Real pearls scratch, too. They're soft and delicate because they're organic. Real pearls have a shimmer, though, that are almost hypnotic. I used to have saltwater pearls, but since the less expensive freshwater pearls became readily available, I've been collecting them and having tons of fun.

No pearls on my clothes because I am afraid of scratching them in the wash, plus I have pets. But I love pearls and you will fairly consistently wearing pearls in some way (current favorite is wrapping a strand around my hair bun.)

As I'm over 70 I wonder if pearls make me look even older. It doesn't stop me wearing them however and I have a lovely necklace with small pearls that my husband bought me. Thanks for the video x

I suggest a double, plus a separate single strand. You can add, twist, etc, in a LOT of ways that you can't do when you have a single piece.

Pearls have a really spiritual connection to the hindu vedas and they are really sacred so one must wear them very carefully....it may not have any negative impacts but we are suggested to wear pearl rings on mondays on the right hand small finger.....and you need to wash them with raw cow milk and then water...i am wearing it due to my stress, anxiety and panic attacks...it really does help, just have faith in everything 😊♥️
