Dear Fatimah, Thank you so much for your kind comment, and yes, I share your love of pearls! I love that you're young and wearing them--I've worn them all my life and they are still my favorite! I read that wearing them is good for the pearls, it keeps them "alive" and excites the color. I wear mine a lot also--be sure to get them restrung by a good jeweler periodically because the strings can weaken with lots of wear. One good tip is don't wear them in the shower, the chemicals in soaps and shampoos, etc., can be harmful to pearls. I see more and more pearls on celebrities lately--they're learning what we already know! Cool video! My stepdaughter and I learned how to knot pearls and make necklaces this past spring. Needless to say, in learning how to make pearl strands I went from having one faux pearl necklace from my mother, to having quite the collection of freshwater pearls! I'm in my early 40's and love wearing my different colored pearls with almost anything. My favorites are pinks and browns!

My fav is tahitian pearls . My complexion is of a yellow undertone and I'm crazy for the golden south sea colored pearl. It looks amazing on my skin. I especially love them in dainty peices like a lariat or a single pendant.

Today, I’ve thrown that by the wayside, and now wear pearls all the time -they dress up jeans, and are right at home with your favorite little black dress. Wearing your pearls actually improves their luster, just be mindful of any dangers like perfume and hairspray, pearls are quite fragile. Also chocolate and peacock colored pearls i adore. I love pearls because they come from the sea and they look elegant and classy. Especially with navy or black dress.

I love pearls ... I wear my pearl necklace with anything. I love to dress up but I love them even if I am just in casual wear ( Cute top and trousers and trainers ) and they really elevate the casual look. A girl always looks classy with pearls.

Hello! I completely agree with you! I wear pearls all the time, many times with jeans and a T-shirt-as you say, pearls elevate your entire look. Also, it’s good for you to wear your pearls because it really helps the luster! Just be very mindful and don’t get any perfume or hair products on them. Pearls are very fragile. You made me lol with the Wilma Flintstone comparison! Those are some huge schtones around her neck! Start with a small pearl, 4-8mm. Play with different lengths. Different forms and colors are fun too. Hope you find something amazing and have fun on the search!
