Clear Coat and Touch Ups on 2012 Dodge Challenger RT

In this video we are working on a 2012 Dodge challenger RT that needed some paint work done. It looked like someone spray painted the drivers side with cheap paint and it faded fast. Cam had extra pressure on him for this one as it was his father in law's car that he was repainting. The car was stripped down and disassembled before getting wet sanded with 600grit. Then the car was masked and taped off to avoid overspray. Once the car was wiped down with Final Wipe, it was time to spray some paint on this thing. First the front bumper, or facia if you prefer, was painted with white basecoat, then the entire car was sprayed with a few coats of clear coat. The end product turned out great and we revealed the car when we delivered it!
We have another project coming out next week so keep an eye out for that!

That turned out so great! The Challenger has always been my favorite newer muscle car. As far as you guys not posting on a regular schedule; post when you do & I'll watch it...at least once!

Hey Guys! We understand , when you get the content out , we are happy ! So much time in prep, and less in spraying eh? But so worth the end results. The gloss stripes do make it unique and stand out for that one of a kind look, and my choice would be the modern Challenger for today’s muscle car, but I wouldn’t turned down the other two if given to me.😁 Great job Cam,as always, and helping out the father in law , and to you as well Tim for putting together this video, we understand how busy the two of you are, I’m in that same scenario ! Looking forward to the other project,especially the Charger! 👍🇨🇦

Looks great. I've been painting over decals for 30 years without problems 99% of the time, Including clearing over massive graphics on the side of huge R.V's that spend most of their lives out in the sun.

Dee kals be damned! Its deckells from now on 😂! I am always a fan of matte finish on cars, but I must admit that if one colour needs a shiny clear coat on it, then it is white. Personally I would love a 1969 Mustang Mach 1 in matte red!
