Hi there kevin this is kevin.. I'm just throwing out a tid bit of info on the tuning of that mt 250.. there is one flaw honda did on that carb and that Is they made the jet needle too small In diameter for the Needle jet so very Hard to tune? The answer is to get The carb kit for the 77 fl250 it fits perfectly in the carb and will make it run like a champ. The fl 250 is the same engine hense the word engine Not trans? Honda eventually went leaner every year on that engine and hit the sweet spot in 77....58 pilot 115 main.. and new fatter needle second from the top.. it's a great vintage bike with history ousing Out every crevice. And the elsinore Is gaining value every year . Oh ya remember you don't gap the points On that bike to get proper timing The proper timing on that engine is When they crack open on the f mark Gapping is just for ware limmit But you probably now that. Just trying to help. Well have a good time Rebuilding that multi track 250 elsinore.

Good morning Kevin, question; would it be advisable or worth purchasing a Nos connecting rod set complete in box for any vintage 2stroke preferably for a rebuild that you plan to keep? These vital parts don't pop up often for a particular bike
