Feeling just a little bit addicted :-) You are such a warmhearted human, for me it seems you´re always positive, despite bad weather. I also appreciate your comments. In bavaria - where I come from - we would name somebody like you a "coole Socke". Really fantastic - please stay tuned and active... For me it is a inspiration for further trips to Britain. The West-Highland-Way was done in 2019 and I love it. In August I start my alps-crossing tour from Garmisch to Merano. Fingers crossed it succeds

Interesting walk. I recall visiting Reighton Gap (now renamedReighton Sands) around 1961 where my parents owned a holiday cottage. Since then a large corporation has bought & built identical small flats - reminds me of the song " ticky-tacky, and they all look the same ". I recall a person buying and building a brick & tile bungalow, against advice, about 50m from my parents house. It had a large lawn in the front, on the sea edge, which crumbled and fell into the sea. Their door then opened on to a dramatic drop. Well done Dean on another great walk,I have spent many good holidays up that way when I was a child, also you don’t waffle to much lol.

Stunning views of the cliffs and coast. The holiday homes on the edge of the cliffs was interesting. I did not realize that there were places in England with mobile home communities. They are a good way to solve a temporary situation and could relocated if the cliff receded quickly.

What a great series. The Cleveland Way is my home turf and I really enjoyed watching the videos while the days were still fresh in my memory. I have to applaud the effort that must have been required to upload them on the day of recording when most would be heading straight for the bar. Unfortunately the weather did not play ball for my favourite stretch between Hayburn Wyke and Burniston but I hope you enjoyed it anyway. (10/10 for Cloughton but it is Wyke not Wick incidentally.) At least you had a good day to finish with.

i should never've ceased walking in spite of illness, maybe i could've avoided dercums disease and other health problems id id just stuck at it...i can still walk but only a few yards, use to walk miles and miles, strange how exercise hurts some and not others,more i did ,worse it got,great and inspireing videos,as always :)

Hi Dean. I REALLY enjoyed this series on the Cleveland Way. It was all good - your narration (regardless of quantity and length), photography, and the way you made us feel like we were a part of the hike. As a section-hiker on the Appalachian Trail (completed first 1,025 miles), I can appreciate the issues with the weather. I like the way you made any situation positive and accent the good parts. I was impressed with the scenery of each part. As you mentioned, it is a very diverse trail. This is the first full hike series of yours I've watched since the Hadrian's Wall hike series with Rik. I've watched that at least twice. I definitely plan to watch the Pennine Way series. Question: What camera did you use? Thanks Dean!

Some pretty impressive coastal erosion there.Though it's a natural process, it's accelerating due to climate change. Those mobile homes will probably be getting orders to move within the next two years or to be abandoned, if a tranportation vehicle can't get in there to carry them away.
