What a sweet, soft spoken, very tall, very good looking, honest, chivalrous, devoted, responsible, great dad, husband, actor and singer. There wasn’t a mean bone in his body and would give you the shirt off his back. God how I wish there were more men like him. RIP Clint honey. We won’t forget you!!!

A few years ago I wrote a letter to this wonderful man. Telling him how much I admire & respect him. I also told him when I was very young I ask my mom to marry him. She laughed & said you have a dad & we are both married. Then I said when I grow up I’ll marry him. She said no you won’t. Well I didn’t. Lol but when my son was on the way I wanted to name him Clint my husband said no. I said how about Cheyenne he said no. So I said well my son will be born on May 30. He was too. So in away I got part of what I wanted & will never forget this great man. He sent me a autograph picture of him. That I love. Gone but never forgotten.

I ran into Clint Walker at Whizin's Market in Agoura, CA in the late 1970's and he was as imposing, shockingly handsome and huge in person as he was on screen. Seemed like a really nice and humble man. Loved him as a kid in the role of Cheyenne Bodi. RIP, Clint Walker and condolences to your family.

I had the good fortune of meeting Clint Walker during the filming of Fort Dobbs in 1958 on a trip west with my grandparents . He was this 10 year old girls heart throb and hero. We got it on film and i treasure that time to this day. I have heard his Christian testimony and look for the day when I can yell, “Hey Cheyenne” once again and see him wave back, flash that huge smile and see the twinkle in his blue eyes. Save a spot for me at the table, I’ll be there.

Ive only just discovered Clint isn't with us anymore..As a young boy at Boarding School in England, us Boys used to crowd around the tv on a Saturday Evening watching "Cheyenne"..It was the highlight of the week..He was my Idol, my role model, and I never forgot Clint.I thought he belonged to us in England..The word Legend is thrown about to loosely these days, but Clint was a Legend, one of a kind..My Boyhood I will always remember cos Clint was part of that..I feel saddened that Clint is no longer here, but he will always be in my heart. When I was around 21 Clint was standing outside a Hotel in London waiting for a Taxi (Cab). He stood there waiting with a Porter .I put the brakes on, grabbed a pen and paper. Explained to him how I loved Cheyenne..He smiled, and signed his name..I spent 2 or 3 minutes with him talking. He was very softly spoken.Such a lovely man and a Gentleman..It will live with me forever. God Bless you Clint (Sir). You will never be forgotten..RIP..Tony.

Muhammad Ali met Clint Walker in the 1960's, Ali was impressed by Walker's imposing physical stature and suggested he become a boxer. Clint said thanks, but no thanks. If Clint had been attracted to football, he might have been a Hall of Fame defensive linebacker (think Dick Butkus), the man had incredible DNA!! Loved you as Cheyenne Bodie, Clint, see you on the other side someday.

First time I saw "the OTHER Clint (!!)" was in the Dirty Dozen, as a young teen, way back when. I was an instant fan & always had great respect for him. So macho, yet so humble. When I learned he moved to Grass Valley, CA for retirement, I always hoped to make a trek up there hoping to meet him & express my admiration. I was very sad to learn of his passing in May. Such an all around great guy who I know touched many of us. We miss you Clint!

WE will all really miss the " Big Guy." All our T.V. heroes from the 50's & 60's are dying out. I did send away to receive an ll"x 9" autographed color photo of Mr. Walker as "Cheyenne. I corresponded to him that I am an Afghanistan War Vet. He could have just signed his name, but he was thoughtful and patriotic in his big heart to write on my glossy, "Tom, Thank you for your service, Your Friend, Clint Walker, "Cheyenne." Have fun "up there" in a heavenly T.V. Land, Clint! Your Friend, Tom (SGT ,USA, Retired.)
