If there are any adventurous young people out there, maybe with little means but wherewithal, Russia is offering free homesteading land in the East and arctic, much like the US did in the late 1800s. It is called "The Law on the Far Eastern Hectare". If groups of 20 are approved, the Russian state will provide basic infrastructure like roads. There are stipulations on ownership within 5 years if you are not a Russian citizen. Occupation is considered a free lease until then. I am getting elderly but I have thought about it.

I like VDH and respect his knowledge of politics and world affairs. Unfortunately, he paints Putin as evil incarnate and doesn't focus enough on the monsters we have right here at home. At this point in time, I see an out of control American empire as a far greater threat to world peace and stability than anything Russia is doing. Now WE have pushed Russia, and much of the rest of the world, into a corner on so many levels. VDH talks like the United States is the dominant world power. Nothing could be further from the truth. Militarily, Russia has shown, it has weapons far superior to anything we have brought to bear against them in Ukraine. They have utterly chewed up Europe's largest and NATO's best trained and equipped army in this war. NATO being nothing more than a US lackey anyway. Only a fool cannot see that Russia has won this war and the US is being forced out to leave Ukraine holding the bag. The media lies and propaganda are telling an opposite story. Americans for the most part remain clueless. The point is, we continue to head down this road of self destruction. It's about hubris, arrogance and entitlement. I have yet to hear ANY justification for our presence in places like Syria and Iraq. We are the only country on this earth that maintains 800+ military bases overseas. It's pure insanity!

Basically agree. For all that I can figure out, it was the west that forced the Ukraine War. Just based on our recent actions in that area. Add in the completely indefensible agressions and instigations in North Africa and then Syria and it is hard to blame Russia and many others for feeling defensive. These actions make it much harder to defend ourselves with authority because we have badly muddied the waters. Sullied our own reputation.

Agreed, but it seems as though the globalists within America are both supporting American empire while destroying America from within. On one hand, the Democrats and neocons are rattling saber’s around the world. On the other, they push DEI which degrades industry and the military, green initiatives, open borders, decriminalization, and deficit spending that weakens the country. It’s like we’re intentionally doing to ourselves what we did to bring down the USSR. It’s the worst of both worlds ... projecting power we no longer can maintain.

If I was fat and looked like a Panda bear, a very ugly panda bear, I'd consider revisiting taking eastern Russia for it's land and resources while Russia is depleting it's war machine fighting against NATO on the far western border. That could be much more advantageous than a small island whose infrastructure and industry has been turned to dust by war. That can always be revisited after gaining the land and resources from eastern Russia.

Many wrong points. In Russia live lot of different nationalities. European, asian. Also some persons coming from Africa. So, point about: Putin against multi-race community is fake. How western persons love talk about democracy, but ignore any peoples desires? Also about 'bad russians' in movies. It is start more earlier. Also don't forget about video games.
