I’m buying “Wa” as soon as it’s out. Those Bosnian developers need all their hard work to be paid off.

Uh, what a blast from the past! :) Thank you for this, it was a fond memory. Just an update, we got full funding for Wa The First Dream and got a team of around 30 people working on the game. It should be released soon-ishh. Unfortunately, Dusica and I have left Prime Time studio around half a year ago due to... uncreative differences :D Follow the game when it's released and I hope you buy it, many hours went into making it.

What a great video! Myself being from Croatia, I can relate to a lot of the stories told by Bosnian developers here. Things are a bit better here in regards of being included as a country in games publishers' and platform owners' services, but the stories about having to pirate games in 90s sound very familiar.

Drew's Cloth Map project, in my opinion, is one of the best things that's happend to video games media in years. So much of the world unrepressented in video games (in terms of how gaming is uncorpurated into the respective countries culture) and his videos really erase the lines in the sand and connects people across continents

It's nice to see a game dev that understands piracy out of necessity. It's really rare I talk to someone that pirates who can both afford the game and pirates for any purposes other than a demo.

Man, what a great video! Those developers were such lovely people and were as down to earth as possible and yet optimistic considering their countries bloody past. Good luck to them and I hope they get the support necessary to get that game funded and published!

What a fantastic interview! I really enjoy seeing these on-the-ground stories of development from places we don't see represented as often. It's been great to see certain parts of Europe, Asia, and Africa really starting to pop up here and there now. I feel like the more international voices we have in this industry, the better. Cheers to these guys ... I'll be on the lookout for their next game for sure!

13:20 I can relate to that so much. My friends did that all the time back in Brazil on at the snes era. I remember it was always a pain to rent a snes game 'cause the odds of getting the actual game that was on the cartridge label were so slim

Great video Drew! Loved the in depth look at a development scene that would otherwise have gotten little to no representation.

Wonderful video! I tend to veer on the anti-piracy spectrum but this shows how piracy can very much be viewed differently.

Hmmm, interesting. What happened to Bosnia is the same shit they did to Hati. I had no idea there was a EU version of Hati. This is what happens when you don't play ball with the powers that be, they lock you the Fuq out.
