I love following you David!! I am a fellow sister in the LDS Church. I can't wait to see your experience from your 1st Stake Conference. Our oldest grandson, who just turned 12 in May, spoke in his Stake Conference a couple of months back, in his Stake in Spanish Fork, Utah. Their Stake put the meeting on Zoom, so we were able to watch it in California. He did such a fantastic job. We were so proud of him!! I love that you try to find good in all Churches. Not everyone will find our Church in this lifetime, but if they can find Jesus in their own Faith Walk, then that is what we can hope for. Keep the videos coming and I will keep watching!! I've always appreciated the way you've always looked for the positive in every church. I think it shows your true colours as a follower of Christ.

It makes you want to go up and give them a big hug and let them know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ truly love them and encourage them to seek peace through Jesus Christ.

Hello David, I have been impressed with your respect & humility from the beginning. It isn’t hard to see the "what", in this case gloom, but it is very difficult to see the why. Elder Rasband taught that God is involved in the small details of our lives..... The Lord can move us like chess pieces, if we are open to promptings. Looking back, we can see His hand in our lives..... events and associations unfold in each of our lives that further God’s work on earth....... No trial or calamity can derail God’s plan of happiness. (by Divine Design Oct 17) IHOP-KC is in my prayers & you are too. Keep up the great work.

The 24/7 theme of IHOP is very unique. The music and the ability to go there anytime and worship is the best thing for people going though a spiritual journey. Mike Bickle is a man that let the power of the position get the best of him. It is a place that has direct link to LDS prophecy. Finding that truth will be hard but its all there if you follow JS jr and his full family line

They are processing the breaking of a fellowship. It is a heavy yoke they are under right now. As believers, please pray for the Lord to comfort those who are struggling and also seeking what God would have them do next in light of losing almost all of their leadership. All of the camera equipment is because they used to broadcast 24/7 worship worldwide. They have limited that now due to the shutting down of the church, prayer rooms, and university. You were probably sensing the deep spiritual oppression that is there right now. I like that you visit different churches, I think that is wonderful.

Thank you again, David, for your time and effort and another wonderful video. You handled a delicate situation wonderfully. I hope that those who might be weak in their faith will not allow the shenanigans to drive them away from Christ. Hopefully, many who may be hurt will take active steps to strengthen their faith because lazy faith is dangerous. From my perspective, the greatest praise and worship is actively striving to live the laws of God in our everyday lives. That's how the armor is kept in battle ready condition. Songs and arm waving are fine, well some of it is, some is repetitive and monotonous, even Skynard got tired of Freebird; but it is actively putting the instructions of Christ into action that brings us the strength to stay on the path and not wonder off in the dark mists. Revelation, I absolutely love The Revelation of Saint John or as John himself calls it The Revelation of Jesus Christ. I always have in my mind and heart the first few chapters of Genesis and the Book of Revelation whenever I am reading any of the scriptures. It's not really scary or terrifying, it's reality, and it's not something we are waiting to begin, it began a long time ago. It's our (all of our) story. It is beautiful. For me, it is a story of the totality of all scripture, a story that has been told over and over and over. you will get hundreds of people tell you read this, watch this, listen to this.... Here is mine bro. The single greatest clarifying asset for that book is the Bright and Morning Star podcast by Breck England. He is a BYU religious studies professor. David, it is wonderful. I will likely be starting the series over this next week. (podbean (scroll down to the beginning) or spotify) I did chuckle when you compared the prayers to the Song of Solomon. I assume you meant the Psalms of David. If it was an unintentional slip, it is beautifully ironic in light of Mr Bickle's problems (I do not mean to poke fun as I wish us all enlightening repentance, but the irony was great), as the Song of Solomon is a pretty erotic love poem. I can see the two monks now, "dude, you can't put that in there." "Sure I can, this is going to be epic, bro."

If you would like to gain a little more understanding of the book of Revelation I’d recommend reading David Ridges’ book, “The Book of Revelation Made Easier.” I believe the author is or was a Professor of Religion at Brigham Young University and has a series of books like this one for all the books of scripture that members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints use such as “The Book of Mormon Made Easier”, “The New Testament Made Easier”, and so on. The 2 books within the New and Old Testaments that are particularly difficult for most of us to understand are the book of Isaiah and Revelation so he’s written additional smaller books to explain them better.

Hi David! Thanks for the video. A good place to start would be the 77th section of the Doctrine & Covenants. It explains there a few specifics in relation to the Book of Revelation, including the 7 seals, the 24 elders and the 4 beasts as revealed by the Lord to Joseph Smith. The Joseph Smith Translation also has some variations in the Book of Revelation as well. You can also check out the podcast The Bright and Morning Star: Finding and Following Christ in the Book of Revelation. It is my favorite of the resources from members of the Church that I've found on it so far, and their recordings from last year go through it in a lot of depth.

For the stats that you're reading. I know there is an ihop in St. Louis called Gateway House of Prayer, and I thought they were connected to ihopkc. And perhaps other places around the world.

If you really want to know about IHOP, study the mission of Ludwig Von Zinzendorf. And def visit the Korean harp and bowl next door. Koreans do not get swayed by a leader being forced out or if they leave...

The amount of people also depend on the time of day and what day. Also, I wonder if the on site ministry school was closed. A lot of people there were students...

If you want help understanding the book of Revelation you need to read Understanding the book of Revelation by Jay and Donald Perry. It helped me a lot. It goes through all the scriptural research for what the symbolic language means and while it’s mostly based on the KJV they bring in the perspectives of other translations and versions of the Bible when it helps to further clarify certain passages. They also use the Joseph Smith Translation as well and modern scriptures and prophetic teachings where applicable

End time prophecy. Maybe they are praying for the world to repent so these people will protected. These are at the very end of the tribulation. It’s judgement.

To be fair I don’t think you understand what you were visiting. This is not a church, it’s not a social place, it’s supposed to feel Reverent and personal. (Quiet is good for this) They are not releasing teachings any more. So any worry about heretical teachings can be cast out. The environment is a simple and prayerful place. It’s songs about Jesus. Prayer for the community. Personal devotion time. And People are working on things “before the Lord” Maybe not an ideal place for a new Christian church exploring. The fact that you struggled to find content to discuss points to all this. If you were looking for the “home church” for ihop you needed to go to forerunner church(which has closed) It’s just a prayer/worship room. Nothing more.

Brother. I would STRONGLY URGE you to read the Bible on your own without any outside influence. Especially the gospels of Matthew-John. I met Jesus by myself not in a church & changed my life. God wants a relationship with you without the organized church stuff that gets in the way. Ask Him to help you hear His still small voice.

The whole thing is so sad! Still confused if your mormon, why would you visit non-Mormon churches?
