This is kinda of our first time entering NiagaraFalls area for train videos as we have shy away from it for sometime now for various reason.
One thing it's hard to talk about NiagaraFalls railways even though there is much evidence it was was a big time railway city.
The last couple decades have seen its railway history evaporate over time as NiagaraFalls has become more of a modern city by it shedding its railway past.
This is not to say it's the only city affected by this. Certainly not, but many of southern Ontario big towns and cities have lost their railway identity in exchange for the freedom of the roads.
In fact we can't think any place where one area hasn't seen a diminish in railway capacities over the years, except for a couple mainlines tracks.
Even with that there are less trains on the mainline, but we suppose there have never been longer trains like the ones seen in this video.
Thanks for watching

Regarding Canon sx230 mentioned in the video. Although this is not our first posted video we with the canon sx230 since the our beloved nikon L840 died in Feburary of 2023.
It's an older camera I think it was release sometime in 2011 we had it purchased used, but that being said it was hardly used by the previous owners according to them.
Anyhow the video quality is probably not quite as good as the Nikon L840 which was release sometime in 2015 and not to mention the sx230 is from a lesser class of camera, but still the optica for train videos doesn't seem too bad and still can shoot in 1080 HD.
Once thing though is there is no built in image stalizer as far as we know. So the video seem to be prone to shakiness even with help with our monopod.
The other caveat is not being able to find batteries that last 20-30 minutes before that camera is too drain too shoot longer videos or multiple videos during the day.
I guess for now this camera will be the centre of our content going forward and I hope not too many people our bothered by it, but hey sometime you just goto work with what you have.
