Always gives me chills. I miss competent and understandable presidential speeches like these.

God, I miss Obama. I didn't agree with all of his polices, but damn he knew how to talk to the American people.

Notice there was no bragging here, no "look at me I am the greatest" or "I succeeded where Bush failed" or any BS like that. Just a solemn remembrance of the 9/11 victims and saluting the collective effort on that day. This is a proper President.

This is one of many reasons that Obama was elected for a second term.

No matter who you represent, president Obama gave one hell of a speech that ALL across the country rejoiced in. Republicans Democrats Liberals Independents We all are blessed to have him served us as our president. I remember I was in middle school when I heard this incredible speech broadcast casted to the American people.😢😊a majority of my teachers cried, smiled with joy . Best president ever in my opinion And if you don't agree with me that's your opinion but I would love to see you running for president and if there is a major catastrophe that happened to us what would you do as president of the United States to solve that. I've literally watched videos on KZfaq of American citizens celebrating that we caught the man who destroyed families. We did sleep a lot easier knowing that the man has been put down.

The uplift of America after this was announced was incredible, families all across the 50 states knew right there and then, they were proud to be an American.

Goodness. I remember exactly where I was the night this announcement was made. It was my cousin's birthday and I had been home from the party for some hours. I was 13 and a 7th grader still and I remember heaving a sigh of relief when I heard that Bin Laden had been eliminated.

I woke my dad up to watch this speech, he was a Vietnam veteran, he sat down with strong remorse. There's something about this that some don't understand.
