No man, this particular scene will give anyone goosebumps, nostalgia at its finest, Johnny has a lot he's coming to grips with, this scene gave us a deep look into his character, for me it was the scene( 0:37 to 0:48)where his emotion took a true turn, when he reminisced on Alli and LaRusso and then when hesquared off against Mr.Miyagi with the front snap kick, when Mr. Miyagi quickly an effortlessly disabled him and as soon as that knife hand chop came down and the camera switched back to Johnny, you could feel his pain, disappointment and regret . The whole car scene was really well done, but yeah that particular scene....... goosebumps.

You gotta really feel for Johnny Lawrence in this scene. There's a lot of older people in real life who are like this. He's down in the dumps and has nothing in his life except the happy memories of his past youth along with the hateful resentment that unfortunately comes with it.

Funny thing is that this scene shows pretty much the dark side of nostalgia. It's fine to reminisce about the "better times" every now and then, but it's another to be completely anchored to and chained down by your past. You can tell that Johnny never really moved on or let go.

I feel for Johnny. My wife tells me I idolize him too much. I’m in my early 30s, but years of depression have weighed on me. I have a beautiful daughter who keeps me going, but I often reminisce about times I felt alive - 2007 especially was an amazing year for me. I recently battled a problem with my immune system, and I feel run down and old. I feel a cross between Johnny and Hawk- some days I feel like Johnny driving in my car and thinking about the good old days while wallowing in my own self pity. Other days, I feel like Hawk when he flips the script.
