Throughout the series, I totally forgot Miguel had asthma and since he met Johnny, he didn’t need an inhaler anymore in the future seasons. Basically, Johnny cured Miguel 😂 In the most badass way.

This guy is what the world needs. The show woudlve fell flat if it wasnt for him. Love his humour and just fight and take it on the chin. All and all this is what these kids needs today.!! Fight hard, learn balance and go from there... The rest is up to you. 😊

Johnny Lawrence is my new hero! He is not only bad ass, but sooooo hilarious! You can’t help liking his character. I love how he bonded with Daniel and Chozen. I love seeing those guys become good friends. Cobra Kai rules! 🖖

@@LeutnantJoker and the whole “boomer” thing is such a stupid insult to begin with. It makes no sense. I was born in 1980 so I’m kind of in between Gen X and millennials, but in the 90’s when I went to high school I just never heard anyone bad mouthing “boomers.” We we’re still more or less respectful of our elders, even if we “rebelled.”

I don’t like what they did with Johnny’s character. The guy’s life after high school was essentially on pause to the point he doesn’t even know what a website is. He thinks people who use computers are nerds lol. The l only reason people in the 80’s thought computers were for nerds was because you needed to learn command line interface to use those computers. I also don’t like how they made him into a psycho like John Kreece. I think Johnny moved past that phase of his life since John obviously has the cops called on him after trying to choke him.

@@AsylumSaint I actually agree with that part. I like Johnny Laurence much better than La Russo. What I don’t like is past season two especially during the whole eagle fang thing, they just start screwing up his character too much. The main tenants of his character in the first two season are just obviously 🙄 way too exaggerated which is what I was mentioning.

@@shechshire The biggest issue was trying to make La Russo have a bigger storyline after season 1. For me, the first season is pretty amazing because it is kind of a Johnny-centric view of the story. Later, they start making too much about Daniel because he was the protagonist of the movies. Even worse when they try to make about the kids, because Tanner Buchanan can't act to save his life.

Johnny is funny. But let's be honest about something: He is a broken man who held onto resentment for 30+ years. He's a sore loser and, honestly, kind of a poor role model to those teens.

@@petersullivan3467 not anymore, he’s pulled his life back and figured out who he is. Got his son back and started a new family. The man’s a legend probably the best character in cobra Kai in my opinion
