I typed all this last night but the stream got struck down before I could comment, so I copied it to my clipboard and said if it goes back up, fuck it, I'll post. Well..... I know for a fact. That I will regret writing this comment this early because of how many people will see it.... Fuck it. If I can prevent a fellow woodsman from going through this, it'll be worth it. So, I live innawoods in rural PA and we have ticks, how many you may ask? "More than enough, I lost count after like the 1" to loosely quote cobes. So many that it's pretty common to find one or two on me after mowing the lawns. One day after mowing, I go in the house, rehydrate, and look myself over for ticks. I was suprised to not find any on my legs or back where I usually get them, I then proceed to kick back for a few hours before I shower. The few hours go by and I go to finally take a shower. I'm weird and don't just pee in the shower like a normal dude, I instead step up to the toilet, drop my drawers and get the shock of a lifetime..... My heart sank immediately and all the blood drained from my face. To my absolute horror, I see a fucking tick. Right on my dick. Not on the... Ummm helmet? But just below it. Securely latched onto my skin. Out of sheer panic, I try to pull it off by hand but it slips and I feel the fucking thing clamp down HARDER. So I grab some tweezers... Again, no dice, I pulled until it stretched my skin to about an inch or two til' it slipped again. I'm thoroughly losing my freaking mind at this point. Do I buck up and go to the ER? No, not my already socially awkward ass is going to endure that embarrassment. I Google alternative ways to remove ticks and I find it. Suffocation with Vaseline. By the time I get the Vaseline and sit on the toilet preparing myself, I feel it moving, I look down hoping it's on the move to a different area... Nope, it's literally BURROWING itself DEEPER into my skin, I can now only see HALF of its body. The only way to describe how this feels is to imagine needle nose pliers gently twisting your skin. So I'm literally crying at this point, absolutely going through it, and apply the Vaseline. I sit there and wait.... And wait...... And wait..... Staring at my dick like my life depended on it... I can still feel it moving around... I estimate it took 15 excruciating minutes for that little fucker to back itself out... It was the LONGEST 15mins of my life, I promise you that. As soon as I could see its whole body and head, I grabbed it with the tweezers. I didn't do anything special to kill it, I just lit it with a lighter. You know how they pop after only a few seconds then you can smoosh em' and throw them away. I did not, I burned that little bastard to nothing but a literal piece of ash.... So that's it. That's my tick dick story. Hope it got some laughs if anyone's read this far. It was a waking nightmare that I'll never forget. I even have a tiny little dot of a scar to remind me in case I were to try to repress it from memory. Moral of this story, ALWAYS check yourself ALL OVER after being outside. God I shouldn't post this.... I'll probably delete this later, or this will be posted by a throwaway..... @TheREALBallParkFranks

I’ll shed a little light on “I ride bike”. I live in Wyoming but I’m not originally from here, I noticed that when people refer to truck drivers or truck driving the say “drive truck”. For example, “what does he do for a living?”, “he drives truck”. I even know a local musician who has a lyric that goes “her daddy drive truck before he piled em up, now he draws a check from the state”. I’ve never heard that expression before coming to Wyoming, so I assume it’s just a weird “wyomingism” and Cobes has boglified it to describe riding his bicycle.

I am prediabetic and currently treating it. There's technically 3 different types, type 1, type 2, and gestational diabetes. Type 2 can have many root causes (mine is mostly hormonal) and diet can aggravate it. I think if Josh gets diagnosed with diabetes, he won't try to change. Not only do you have to be dedicated to changing your diet, but also routines. I have to take pills daily, i have to monitor blood sugar. And most importantly, no sugar and especially no alcohol. I genuinely don't think he'd be willing to give up drinking until shit gets too dire, and at that point, it's near impossible to go back.
