Hello. That's a great question. On a personal level I am not a fan of CompTia certs; however, their certs became popular amongst employers and for those I'd say go for it to help you get a job. But, before you do that try getting a job based of your previous IT experience. Of course, watch some refresher videos so you can pass the technical part of the interview.
