Seems like Call of Duty Warzone has some new competition! I'm loving how the Battlefield 2042 and Halo Infinite gameplay trailers look so far. To be honest, i'm more excited for Halo, but that won't stop me from getting on a Battlefield server with the boys and destroying the terrain. Hoping that these games will hold me over while I wait for Diablo 4 to come out. But hey, I might have to get back into live streaming when I play these!

Imagine. Cod literally pulled the all stops for modern reboot and war zone only to be told that halo and battlefield are taking an extra year. They milked everyone out as much as they can before they start seeing their sales drop to shit again and they’ll never see those number again because they already pulled nostalgia card twice now so it’s over.

Not trying to be “that guy” but tempered glass is actually incredibly strong. Much more brittle than metal or wood but very hard to break, especially when it’s thick like that table top.

Cold War is the worst Call of Duty I've ever played. It wasn't even terrible and didn't get crazy amounts of hate like Infinite Warfare did because it's a "safe" game. They didn't come up with anything cool or new so the game is just boring. The gunplay is pretty terrible too. It's a worse engine than Modern Warfare in every way.

I mean, the game was developed by devs at their home, in a short amount of time (I think it was 9 months?). So they had less time to prepare the game and had little time to think of anything new, I guess, along with their robotic animations ingame, while Mw had probably 3 years(from what people had been saying) to be prepared, plus it was developed at their HQ.

They really shouldn't make a new one every year. But i feel like bf needs to change too. I started it with bf3 and ever since, every game plays out/feels mostly the same. I love the scope, the scenario, the atmosphere and the destruction. But it needs more than that. That's the reason im not hyped for the new BF. Will probably be bored of it within a month.

Unfortunately that will never happen. CoD is an annual franchise, which means they have a strict cycle for releasing a game every year. As a surprise for zero people, Activision prioritize money most than everything, so they'll never break the annual cycle, doesn't matter how awesome the game is, because doing that would mean losing money, obviously

Battlefield has always been one to one up Call of duty, and it’s been a while since COD one upped Battlefield. While Call of duty may have a broader audience then Battlefield, it’s only because Call of duty is an easier game to learn and play, not to mention it’s an arena type shooter. But while I like both franchises, Battlefield will always be the one for me… and awesome video btw very funny 😆

Fireteam modes ain't nothing like Battlefield, there aren't many vehicles, the maps are much much smaller than the ones in BF, the modes are much different like Fireteam: hardpoint, and overall it's simply a couple of Deathmatches in close quarters locations that are on a big map.

@EpikLemon Ground war indeed was tried to be a battlefield, but imo failed miserably, even in the eyes of cod community. Thank God Treyarch didn't make the same mistake as IW did, and fireteam in Cold War is really enjoyable, and it's nothing like ground war.

The fact that everyone is comparing any shooter game to call of duty shows that everyone has a soft spot for cod. We aren't hating the game cod devs. We just want cod to get the vibes of 'new things' like in the old days. U guys made PC gaming a revolution to bring it in actual world competition (e-sports) . We r totally tired of the same run and gun through out maps, flanking. Bring out something game- changing like the gunsmith. People really love the COD series and they don't want it to fall into darkness. No hate to other games. I play valorant and pubg as well and I love them. I'm about to play bf 2042 beta in a couple of days too.

What history class did you take? CS:GO and Star craft did way more for PC gaming and esports than cod. Cod has never been big on PC and COD's esports is played with controller.

Of course battlefield has very intensive graphics and gameplay however cod is also one of my favourite games because of its gameplay and storyline.I just wanna see both Activision and EA to make new games and keep going on .😀

I'm sad to see the series die out, because I am a cod fan, but not a crazy one, so I'm a bit bummed that it's leaving but at the same time I'm thankful that it is, it leaves room for new top games like ID softwares doom series, which is old but it can get bigger, so yeah, it will leave, the devs will have no more money for it, and that would be about it

They really screw up the CoDs, don't they. MW3 couldn't hold the Quality of the 2 previous MWs, Advanced Warfare Has bad campaign with the villain being the only thing that saved it, bad multiplayer, and the worst zombies mode in the history od Call od Duty. And WWII which was good when it came to story, Had a boring multiplayer and a decent zombies mode, but failed because noone wanted a WWII game.

Cod is a very easy game to get into and has always had a larger fan base. Almost anyone can pickup a game a find a squad and play. It's been the same exact formula for close to two decades. People like consistency and it sells well because of it. Call of duty hasn't made a good game since Black Ops 2(league play was almost perfect in that game). BF1 was the best fps shooter at the time a killed cod. But cod fans are die hard and BF5 blew harder than a bag of dicks. Cod is becoming way to stale and BF fans have been craving a good game since BF1( I went back to BF4 when BF5 came out). I hope it's a good game and out sells cod if that's the case some amazing games will be released from the competition.

Call of duty has a slighter broader audience then that of Battlefield, not because Call of duty is better then Battlefield, but Call of dutys an easier game to play and learn hence why more people play it, to put it simple, Cods an arena type shooter where Battlefield is an epic sandbox of vehicular combat game.
